this review is a year late, but better late than never. We stayed there for a month last March, we very happy with our suite and the proximity to everything. Suite was very tidy and the staff were very friendly and very accommodating, even lent us an umbrella so we could take our dog out in the rain, very knowledgeable...

I was in Vancouver for a few days with my daughter. We needed a place with kitchen, so 910 Beach was perfect. We had a studio with a Queen bed and Queen pull out sofa. I slept on the sofa. Not the most comfortable bed, but fine for a pull out sofa, and our time there. Having a washer/dryer in...

We were a family of 4 adults and 1 baby staying at a Bedroom Deluxe Suite, which had 1 ensuite bedroom, 1 single bed bedroom, and a pull out sofa. The suite was adequately sized for our group. The second bathroom was certainly helpful with reducing time for everybody to get ready to go out. The kitchen was the biggest...

I moved into Vancouver last month and before i got here, i needed a place to stay the first month while i searched for a permanent place to live. I search for various places online and came across the 910 Beach Ave Apartment Hotel, which had interesting rates for a full month stay. I couldn`t be happier with the service...

A must-recommend. I'll definitely be back! First off, the location can't be beat. You are steps away from the False Creek Ferries (which can take you across to Granville Island), the beautiful walk along English Bay and about a 25 minute walk to downtown Vancouver. I stayed here for a total of 15 nights during Oct/Nov and got to know...

I booked a one bedroom suite about a week ahead of my visit. One main request I made was that I be well away from elevators as I am a very light sleeper. When I checked in and went to my suite, I found that the bed was right on the elevator wall. I went back to the desk and...

We’re sorry you were unhappy. I have advised all my staff to write to customers before they arrive should a conflicting request, such as yours, may occur. Our one bedroom suites are all situated close to the elevator. The guest agent on duty looked at our available inventory and didn't have any options to provide, as the rooms that were...

Checked into this hotel for 2 nights and overall impression was far from satisfaction. Room size turned out to be small comparing with their photo shown and there's a wifi fee of $5 a night which sounds a bit weird in today's competitive hotel industry. Also parking does not come free and the charge is $18 per day. Hospitality and...

We're sorry you were unhappy. Based on the comments above, I must note that we are an apartment hotel, advertised with limited services & amenities. We never claimed to be a five - four-three star property and or full serviced ever. Our apartment style accommodation is geared to the long term traveler, where being cost conscious is a priority. We...

Stayed for 5 nights in this 2 bedroom apartment. Elderly mother, parents and 15 year old. 15 year old slept on sofa bed but found it comfy enough. En-suite bathroom with walk in shower and shower over tub in main bathroom. Washing machine and dryer in unit. Very comfy beds, nice well equipped kitchen and daily room make-up. Only downside...

Located near Granville Island. Stayed here two nights, apartment 204. Location was perfect for us. One minute walk to False Creek to take the water taxi to Granville Island and also to Yaletown to take the metro. A short walk to Yaletown-Roundhouse metro station along Pacific Blvd. A longer walk along Beach Avenue West passing Sunset Beach Park to Denman...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
