Was very disappointed in room and especially the bed. I had such a back ache after sleeping the night and felt I had slept in a Motel 6. When I mentioned it to the desk when checking out, she stated they were getting new mattresses this summer, after the much needed portable AC units. Only one window opened in the...

We stayed at 910 beach ave for one month, my husband was in Vancouver for an important surgery...I can't say enough about all the staff there and 'especially' Julia and Ethal...amazing ladies that are just so kind and caring...my little dog was very welcome and that made us feel so good, they made it feel like our home away from...

Booked one night stay in a bachelor suite which can accommodate 4 and feel spacious due to the room layout (1503). Soaps for dish washing and bathroom were included. In room laundry is a major convenience. We had our own walk out on the ground floor. Ate breakfast outside! 2 min walk to Aquabus station right across from Granville Island....

A friend booked this place for the 2 of us because he was able to secure a 2 bedroom suite. It was fine. It was clean, decent size, kitchen was well equipped. It appeared to be a former condo - at least it had that feel. Only negatives were the continental breakfast was a joke and there wasn't much close...

We booked this hotel as we wanted some added features which could not be offered by other mainstream hotels such as a kitchen, washer, dryer etc.... The hotel is conveniently located in the south side of downtown, right across from Granville Island, and the ferry to go there leaves from right outside the hotel, which also means the hotel as...

Room 305 - we booked this hotel as we needed two rooms and a kitchen. Based on what we paid this is a great hotel in a good location for shopping, English Bay and Granville Island. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the suite was cleaned several times during our stay. We would definitely stay here again and...

I believe I had an off season rate, so this was a really great value for such a good location. I had a studio on the 7th floor, so there was not much traffic. The unit had a full kitchen but only two glasses, two plates etc. so you had to buy dish soap or run the dishwasher (soap provided)...

Stayed here for two days while on business in Vancouver. Great location and quiet, well-appointed suites. Comfortable beds and everything you need to be self-sufficient. The building is secure and well suited for a woman travelling on her own.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
