Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I like to say that my stay at The Days In in Vancouver Metro was a very positive except of the pillows feel like small cushions when I am proping myself up to watch TV. Unfortunately, I did not see any wheelchair access. Booking on-line, the hotel was very reasonable! But taking advance of reserving a room before the Marchbreak, may have its advantages! The hotel offers free parking to it's guest; but I had no car. However I did take advantage of Vancouver's reasonable transit system (e.g. Sky Train & frequent bus service). I found that the bus drivers were very polite & helpful! I found scores of wonderful restaurants, a few retail, banks & convenience stores all along the two major streets, along Kingsway and Victoria Drive next to my hotel. This hotel is situated right next to one of the largest 'fast food' chains in Canada without mentioning its name. The Days Inn offers a free Free Wi-Fi & a daily continental breakfast between the hours of 06:30 to 09:30. They are pet friendly! Reasonably priced when you book through Hotwire! Centrally located near bus, restaurants and retail stores. Right next door to McDonald's for convenience whenever you're hungry! Free continental breakfast in the morning and free parking around the bldg. It has its own Free Wi-Fi and is pet friendly!

Booked a room here for overnight in between my YVR flights over 2 days. Room was very comfortable and the shower was great. I wish the pillows were not so high/deep, because I developed a stiff neck from being at such a high angle. Breakfast was provided and was very generous, lots of options, cereal, juice, tea, coffee, pastries, yoghurt, bagels, toast, boiled eggs and prunes. Had a 10 minute walk to the Nanimo metro station to return back to YVR.

The cleanliness could’ve been worked on but I got my moneys worth. Front desk staff could have been more cheerful but they weren’t rude. Aspects of the room seemed modern and up-to-date but some aspects were outdated. For the price, I’d consider staying again

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. When we came into our room there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector so someone must have been smoking in the room before us. The bathroom floor was dirty uneven tile that you could easily cut your foot on. It had snowed heavily 3 days prior but no attempt was made at snow removal in the parking lot. Upon leaving our car hit a large hole in the lot damaging the front bumper panel. Overall not what I expect from a Days Inn. Will not use again.

It was better than the last place we stayed and the location met our needs If I want my friends to have my room number I will give it to them. I like the court area And was pet friendly. The traffic out the window was terrible.

My room is a bit damp. If the hotel could provide one time slipper will be perfect. The Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was excellent with many choice.Also, the location is ideal to access anywhere in Vancouver.

Was never notified $50 Breakage deposit.At check in wasn't given no choice.Pay or leave.Grocery stores don't do it,why hotels allowed to get away with it? All it yells at me is,we don't trust our guests.

We, like all hotels take a pre-authorization on your credit card upon check-in. That is to cover any phone calls you might make and it insures that we have a valid credit card on file in case a guest smokes in the room, takes the towels, causes damage, etc. I have been lucky in the Days Inn over my eight plus years, smoking and damage charges have been very rare. I am sorry that you were offended by this policy but it is posted on the front desk counter, Sean Barrington, Operations Manager.

I got Rob at this hotel. Someone broke into my room and stole everything from us. Please avoid staying here. Management will not help you or assist you in any way. I hope this help so no one goes through our same horrible experience.

El hotel es un poco retirado del puerto crucero, pero es sencillo y rápido de ir.
Del puerto ir a la estación del Skytrain, a pie como 5 minutos. Tomar el tren (skytrain) hasta la estación “Nanaimo” (son como solo 10-15 minutos), a la estación Nanaimo tomar el bus 25, hasta la intersección de Victoria – Kingsway, (en bus otras 10-15 minutos), el hotel es 5 minutos a pie.
