Centrally located and therefore convenient to go to downtown. The front desk staff was very helpful. The second floor restaurant is superb. Good food and drink menu. Rooms and decor however look a bit tired. It will look better of renovated with bright colours.
We booked this hotel for 4 days before sorting out and independent trip to the Rockies. The hotel is reasonably priced for Downtown Vancouver. Corner room size on 9th was good and comfortable, but the bathroom was just too small! It was difficult to negotiate...More
A bit older and more tired in communal areas (especially pool area) but rooms are well maintained and more importantly, spotlessly clean. A good refurb would make this place 5 stars. Only 100m from the skytrain, and a 5 minute walk to gastown and downtown.

Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
