Our organization had its annual conference here for 4 days in September and we were very happy with all aspects of our meeting thanks to the fine staff here. From the time I arrived onsite I felt that I was at a hotel that understood...More
Great downtown location within 10 minute walk to Vancouver convention center. Historic charm, architecturally interesting building, comfy beds and friendly staff. I accidentally left my phone off the hook on the morning of check-out, and a staff member came and knocked on my door in...More

We travel to Vancouver often and have stayed at a lot of hotels but always return to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. There are newer and trendier places of course but this hotel just feels right. The staff and service is always outstanding.
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also
popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
