Hi, note this is not a family friendly hotel. To me they shouldn’t even bother allowing families with children under 13 stay here. Additionally the rooms are TINY - we had 2 double bedroom rooms and we were squished. There is next to no place to put your items we could barely get in and out of our room because the space to put your stuff was right at the door you had to move out of the way to open the door and get everyone out. There is no fridge so be mindful of that if you plan to bring items that need refrigeration. We went on a Saturday to Tuesday we were right by the ice machine which was in the hallway outside our room and right by the elevator so lots of noise to deal with from those two places with those have continuous traffic. The bathroom only had a shower which leaked water everywhere through the door, the bathroom had no fan so it brought steam and moisture throughout the room which you could do nothing about due to having no fan. I would look to find another hotel if you are thinking of staying here.…
Would Not Recommend!! I Stayed at hotel Belmont at the end of January 2023 with our family of 4 we had a fairly good idea of the pros and cons of this hotel from reading other helpful reviews so trying to avoid the noise from the club downstairs I called a couple weeks prior to request a room on the 5th floor to which I was told would not be a problem and if anything changed I would be called so we were fairly pissed off when we arrived to find out our room was going to be on the second floor right in front of the elevator (room 212) so while the noise from the club was bearable the constant noise of people getting on and off the elevator and the ice machine made for quite poor sleeps over our stay over all I would not recommend staying here unless you don’t plan to sleep
I arrived at night so I wasn’t sure about the neighbourhood. There were people standing around out front but I quickly realized they were from the bar attached to the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Pillows were the best! I was a bit intimidated by the dark bar/club called “the Living Room” but since it was the only place to get food I ventured down. They had live music and great staff. There’s no “room service” per se so I just went in and ordered food to go. Room was very cute and clean. I would definitely stay again.
Cozy boutique hotel that is within walking distance to where all the food and shopping are. The breakfast buffet options were enough to keep us full. The rooms that we booked were too small for our liking but we could easily move to the other room options after speaking to the front desk who were very friendly and accommodating. Special shoutout to Jennifer and Kunal who were helping us throughout our trip. The only thing we didn’t like was the lack of lighting in the room as it was wintertime and we couldn’t even rely on the daylight as it was usually gloomy outside.
Very helpful staff , rooms were tidy and clean . It was a little noisy as there was a street singer that decided to start singing at 930 pm to 1 am and it’s next door to a few restaurants and down town so lots happening . Lobby was nice , sofa bed wasn’t terribly comfortable even for a kid beds were comfy I give 3 1/2 stars
This MGallery hotel is located in downtown Vancouver and I stayed here for one night. Upon check-in they gave me a nice room on the second floor. I just didn’t like the mint shampoo, shower gel and conditioner as it felt a bit like your entire body is full of toothpaste. I would choose this hotel again.
The good, the decors and room design is very funky and beautiful done. The bad the room sizes are very small. Idea accommodation for a small stay only. Location good only a short walk to shops and so forth.
This is a cute hotel with exceptionally helpful staff and almost everything was just as I expected, however the noise was an absolute deal-breaker and the reason for the 1-star review. As many others have commented, the hotel contains a nightclub that operates 24/7 it seems. I stayed Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights and all three nights the music was loud enough to keep me awake. It is such a shame, as the hotel is very nice in all other respects, but given that the core service of a hotel is a place to peacefully sleep, it is a dealbreaker for me. If I owned the hotel, and truly cared for my guests, I would place the lower floors in a cheap price tier with a warning about the noise.
My dad and I stayed two nights at this hotel and it was great! Breakfast was very tasty. Excellent service from the receptionist Kunal who helped us with everything we needed and gave us tour tips too.
Lovely Hotel with well trained staff and great hospitality! Located in Downtown with many Restaurants, Bars and Clubs around. Especially Boris (GM) and Jacky (FO) are Superstars of the Hotel. Will be back cor sure and would recommend the Hotel to anybody (Couples, Friends, Business or Solo).
