We stayed for 3 nights on the way back to Australia, room was OK with a very comfortable bed & everything you need, a little noisy being so close to a main road but that is what you get in the inner city. Good breakfast but no restaurant for evening dining, bar was OK but didn't until 6pm.The staff were...

We booked this hotel wanting to be within the main downtown area. What a nice surprise to find we had been placed into a lovely suite! It had two bedrooms and two baths, a living area and a kitchen! We found that the area was quite walkable and busses were available when we got tired. A very nice city to...

Nothing was too much trouble for the team at this hotel. Every request was actioned with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism. The location of the hotel meant that all downtown areas were within walking distance. The hotel itself was clean and inviting. There was a choice of rooms or suites. A lovely rooftop hot tub and also an internal gym. A...

We had 3 nights here, and found it convenient to walk to the city, Stanley Park and Granville Island. Hotel was a little tired but the staff were all very helpful, rooms were comfortable. Good restaurants and bars nearby.

Hotel location was great. We were able to walk and get around Vancouver very easily. The room was nicely appointed, the bed was very comfortable. Having the restaurant on premises made mornings simple. Enjoyed the wine tasting event. The shuttle to the port was a real bonus!

Could not believe the small size of the 'deluxe' room. Very small indeed. However it was clean. The A/C was extremely noisy in fact the noisiest one that I have ever been heard. The staff however, were professional especially Albert who was fantastic. The information that he gave us on sights and restaurants was valuable.

A 2 night stopover on our way home, so the hotel is within walking distance of a station on the line to the airport. We had a very comfortable room on the 4th floor, probably more than 2 people needed. Everything worked; good shower; clean. Staff were professional and helpful in answering our questions about the city. We didn't use...

Thank you for staying with us while in Vancouver, and we were happy to read that the staff helped make your stay more enjoyable. To answer your question, yes. On the Keurig pod coffee machine if you would rather have hot water for tea, don't pt the coffee pod in the front system. Instead, pour the water from your cup...

This hotel is nicely appointed, but could use some TLC for the price. We stayed two nights. The hot tub/spa is situated nicely on the back side on the 9th floor. Good comfy beds. Parking is $30 per night to keep your car here. We did not eat or drink here. Newspaper delivered every morning. We were on the 8th floor...

Very friendly male receptionist who dealt with 2 jet lagged travellers quickly and efficiently! Having made an hilarious blunder in the lift when we did not go anywhere and 2 more Brits opened door again at reception, we were informed by them (as they did the same) that the key card has to be inserted before the lift will move!...

Stayed at the hotel for one night. Paid the $30 for parking so I was in a locked/gated parkade off the street. That didn't stop the criminal as my car window was smashed in the parkade and things were stolen out of the back. We weren't offered anything besides a refund on the parking fee for the problem......meanwhile we are...

We are very sorry for the incident with your car in the parking lot. We do our best to secure this area, and advise guest not to leave anything in their vehicles that may be an attraction to those prowling for opportunities. We never know their motive, or what may attract them, but if everything is out of sight, there...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
