Recently stayed at this location for a course and was pleasantly surprised by almost everything. The building is located downtown and very walkable to everything you need from Vancouver. The building is old and in certain areas needs a refresher but largely in good repair and clean. The staff were very helpful and the concierge even drove me to my...

Thank you for your review, and are pleased to see that you had an enjoyable stay with us. You'll be pleased to know that the 'refresher' is coming. From the continued updates to our suites, to new beds throughout all rooms... just to name a couple of things that will take place over the next couple of months. We look...

Cockroaches in the kitchen scurrying back under the stove and down the drain don't make for a comfortable stay. Having to drag my suitcases up a flight of stairs because the elevator doesn't stop at the floor I parked on, is quite annoying. Having said that, the view was great, the staff were awesome, and the location perfect, but that...

We appreciate that you took the time to write a review regarding your stay and apologize for the confusion with the condo elevator. Of the four elevators we have, three go to the two parking levels and one does not stop on the P1 level. We apologize for this design but there should not have been stairs to climb at...

This hotel has great rates, nice rooms, good views. Beds are a bit firmer than I'd like but still comfortable. Easy walking distance to English Bay, the attractions on Granville Street, and I walked over the Granville Street Bridge to Granville Island although you could take a water taxi instead. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly. Decent gym and nice...

It was one of the cheapest hotels we found in this area. The room is basic, a little outdated and rather small. There is complimentary bottled water and a rowing machine (my favorite!) in the fitness room. You could walk some km to most nice restaurants and stores, but I'd prefer to stay in a better location next time.

We got a good deal on the room through groupon and purchased it on a whim so we weren't too sure what to expect. Upon arrival the lobby looked a bit dated. This proved to be true of pretty much the entire facility, including the rooms. The normal rooms are pretty small but they have everything you could need. They...

Thank you for taking time to give us a review of your recent stay. We apologize for the smell of weed in the hallway and we will always do our best to enforce our no smoking policy throughout the building, and I am sorry that someone chose to ignore that and made your stay less pleasant. We have passed along...

Lots of positives and negatives here!Staff are great ,genuine people.Christina ,Nihar ,doorman and Assisting Manager on duty on Saturday all very good. Wine hour was interesting ,very small glasses ,no variety ,but got to meet some lovely guests also staying that night. They did have a tv playing hockey though and I think some music playing might've been a better choice,and...

Thank you for the positive and constructive comments regarding your stay, and we are pleased that overall you enjoyed your time with us. When the new patio is done off the lobby, it will indeed be a great addition to the hotel, especially for the wine tasting hour. We do change the wines each day so that you can try...

We spent one night, and got an upgrade from a hotel suite to the condo side of the building, with a spectacular view of False Creek from the 18th floor. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the condo was very comfortably furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wine tasting was more of a social and sipping time, with no...

On the plus side the staff here are great, very friendly and generally helpful. My husband & I had a apartment type suite which had great facilities (washer, dishwasher, oven etc) but some of the furniture was looking a little worn. However we were expecting gowns & bottled water (as on the website ) but were told this was offered...

This is an awesome hotel! The beds were a little firm for my liking, but I opted for the hotel room with a kitchen for my stay. I was travelling to Vancouver for 4 months back and forth from Toronto, and WISH I could have stayed here longer! Centrally located and awesome setup.

Thank you for the kind words, and we wish you could have stayed longer as well. We are currently testing a few new bed types throughout the hotel as we work on replacing them with some of the best available. Hopefully once that is complete, you will not want to return to Toronto and can just stay with us! Dave...

We stayed here one night while going to the Vance Joy concert at the Orpheum. Its about a 20 minute walk through downtown. We had an east facing room on the fifth floor. Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
