A lovely hotel near ferry to Granville island, hop on hop off bus. Hot tub and fitness room. Gracious and helpful staff. Smallish room but beautifully appointed. Great value! Complimentary wine tasting.

Booked a room to stay at this hotel as it was the most reasonable for downtown Vancouver. When we arrived we were upgraded free of charge to a 2 bedroom suite, it was awesome! The young man at the front desk was so helpful with a map of how to get to Rogers Arena, very polite. The hotel itself was...

This hotel was situated in a good part of Vancouver 2 blocks from the Granville Island ferry and an easy 10/15 minute walk to shopping in town. Close to bike hire shops to cycle the seawall 2 blocks away. We had a one bedroom apartment with full kitchen lounge etc washer/dryer. The only comment is the bed needs renewing and...

Great stay for a reasonable price. We stayed there for two nights and really liked it. The breakfast room (hotel restaurant) was lovely and food was good. Room was very clean and staff superfriendly and helpful. Location is good as well, by water taxi you are at Granville island in 10 mins.

My daughter and I stayed one night while in Vancouver to attend a concert. The location is a bit out of the way from the downtown core, but it is walkable. A warning to out-of-towners not familiar with some parts of Vancouver - the south end of Granville (but on the north side of False Creek) is pretty sketchy (and...

We stayed at this hotel one night post cruise. The hotel is located across the bridge from Granville Island and although we did not use it there is a water taxi just down the street. For the location this was very good being 2 blocks from Yaletown and in the centre of the city. Although the hotel was clean and...

For some reason this property only has enough robes in their stock to have one small and one large robe in every room. If you are two larger people, only one person can wear a robe to the hot tub. The request to have the small robe switched to a large could not be accommodated. A small problem but none-the-less...

Thank you for letting us know of the concern with the robes. We have asked our supplier to look at a different type of robe for future purchases. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Regards, Dave Wilkin Hotel Manager

We stayed here on a Fireworks night. We booked through beVancouver so parking and an upgrade was included plus there was a nice bonus gift - $25 at Amazon. We had no problems checking in - staff was friendly. We didn't find the room small - I quite liked the different layout and wall of windows. We had a peekaboo...

My friends and I travelled to Vancouver in September. When we got to our room, the toilet was broken and they said it couldn't be fixed, so we were given another room, which was wayyyy smaller than the room we were initially in. We spoke to the front desk, and they said it was the only room they had left...

The room was small but adequate. Rather dated. Having to pay extra for coffee or fruit juice at breakfast we thought was a cheek. Only having one person on duty on a busy morning for checkout resulted in long queues. Air con in the room was ridiculous with the noise it emitted Spa bath on the 9th floor was great

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
