Perfect location in the heart of Vancouver. The rooms are nicely decorated and in great conditions. All amenities are there for business as well as leisure. The staff is professional and friendly both at the hotel, bar and restaurant.

I stay at the Opus on business usually for 4/5 days at a time. They are always welcoming, polite and helpful at reception, the bar staff are professional but fun, the rooms are comfortable and clean (lovely underfloor heating in the bathrooms) the restaurant does amazing food. A hotel where nothing is too much trouble! What more can I say....

Stayed here for 2 days as I had to attend a 2 day conference downtown Vancouver (I live in Metro Vancouver - wanted to save on the daily commute back n forth). Nice boutique hotel, tucked away on Davie street. A Starbucks right across and several restaurants nearby. The rooms are very modern, big and bright. Very friendly staff and...

This hotel reminds me the W hotels as it has the same type of design and atmosphere. The lobby is small (literally) but the room was big and comfortable. The shower is huge and the shower amenities are different from traditional hotels. The body wash made out of rum, the shampoo out of peppermint and the conditioner out of cilantro....

By far my favourite hotel, I travel for work weekly throughout Canada and love this hotel for its location, facilities and most importantly, the professionalism and care of the staff. Sky train across the street, tonnes of local good restaurants, best coffee shop on premise....perfect!

Stylish yet not snobby at all hotel; super friendly yet courteous staff, the Opus Hotel in Vancouver is a gem. Great location in Yaletown, steps away from many restaurants. The included breakfast had a refreshing take on the classic continental breakfast, too!

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.

“We stayed in a west-facing room the first time (the one with the radiant floor heat) the first time and the only criticism is that the bathroom can lack privacy, but warm feet. We stayed in a south-east room the second time and it had a larger bathroom (with tub and private) but no radiant floor heat. Your call, really.”
