My wife, son and I stayed one night in one room. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Superb location. Wonderful staff. Excellent dinner, good breakfast in the restaurant. Worked out in the gym which, while small, was well equipped. Our only complaints: noise from a party in the neighbourhood on Sat night, and the sofa bed which our son slept on was uncomfortable.

I stayed 3 nights at the Opus. From the mobile check in to the moment we left the staff was friendly, helpful and took care of whatever we needed. First, Vanessa(?) at the front desk recommended a great florist and made sure that the flowers were in our room upon arrival. Second, they offer you a beverage right at check...

I stayed at the Opus for a week and would highly recommend it. The room was really smart, with a great bathroom, really comfortable bed, and other nice touches such as the guest iPad. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided consistently great service, which made me really feel at home during my stay. I also loved the Yaletown...

This is the second time I have stayed here for a business trip to Vancouver. And each time the rooms have been modern, quiet, and clean with plenty of room to relax and also room to work. The bed is luxurious, the view (from the bathroom!) is fun and lets in a lot of light. The "tuck-in" service is fun...

This was our second visit to the Opus Hotel and once again we brought the dog. It's great how pet friendly they are at the Opus. We live in Vancouver, but like to do little staycations in the city to have a break during the year and of course we like to bring the whole family which includes our dog....

At first glance this hotel is small in the middle of a street. But what a surprise it holds for you. The room was comfortable with great amenities. The bed was very comfortable. And a nice turn down service every night. Great coffee and tea. The hotel is in a nice area right across from the train and lots of...

Beautiful hotel. Great location in Yaletown and close to the water. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. excellent customer service. The courtesy car gets busy sometimes but it was great to not always have to take a taxi.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
