My husband & I took a break from visiting relatives to stay at the Opus Hotel. We were warmly welcomed at check in, offered a cold water or glass of wine. The lobby is small with a lounge with modern decor. It was quite busy later in the evening with a young crowd enjoying a DJ's music. Our room (401)...

Opus provided a wonderful stay for our weekend trip to Vancouver--amazing breakfast, solid wifi, comfortable room, and a superb location next to the Canada Line stop in Yaletown. The staff were helpful and went above and beyond in helping us load luggage and find places to eat. The room also came with a phone and Ipad, so we were able...

An exceptional hotel. Great location, great rooms and wonderful staff. Over the course of a month touring the West Coast of NA, this was the one hotel the received universal acclaim from the family. Well done Opus.

I was delighted with everything and everyone at the Opus. The front desk was incredibly helpful. The rooms were great, the location great, and it was a kick to have bicycles ready for guests at pretty much any time. Great eating within literally a block or two in Yaletown. Would recommend highly.

Definitely my favorite Vancouver hotel. Has boutique charm and feel, yet delivers top notch service. Lovely modern decor, great restaurant, but it is the friendliness and accommodation of the staff that sets it apart. My company uses Opus for my corporate travel, and their service keeps bringing me back for personal travel. This trip, they were especially helpful. We were...

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.

“We requested a higher floor room away from the elevators. Yaletown is a busy part of downtown and the higher floor cut down on the street noise as did the bathroom which is smartly placed between the bedroom and the street side windows.”

“Liked the recycling bin.. if it's actually sent for recycling. Would have liked to be able to tell housekeeping they didn't have to change my linens and towels every day. Every little bit helps! You should get a sustainability expert to direct you on much more sustainable practices... or a marketing person that toots your horn! ”
