Older hotel & could use some updates but friendly & helpful staff. Room is clean & more like an apartment. Full kitchen, living room area, bathroom, & bedroom area. Close to lots of shops & restaurants. Fairly quiet at night. I’d stay here again. 👍🏻

I booked a trip to Vancouver on a very short notice, so there weren't many places to choose from to begin with. Based on the reviews, my expectations were already low. Pretty much the only good thing I can say about this place is the location.

Part of the problem is that the bu

The location is so convient with shops and restaurants all along the hotel and the park, beach, sea plane, lookout, convention center are all a few minutes walking. The hotel is great to stay in I wish I had more than one night to spend in it. The staff will do anything for you a

The hotel is in a great location, however the rooms really need updating. Some of the cleaning also wasn’t up to scratch. The rooms are however really big. More apartment like than hotel room.

Just so you know-there is no lift at the hotel but it’s only three stories high.

I see there isn't air conditioning. Is there a fan in the room? Thanks for your help. :)
Yes, there was a fan in our room. The window was also quite large.

We are driving from Seattle , how far is your hotel from Seattle ?
Is there a shuttle or easy access to the cruise ship terminal from here?
Hi - can you tell me what is the best way to get to the hotel from the airport / approximate costs etc. Thanks - Kev
Kev, A taxi ride from YVR to downtown is pricey. Public transport in Vancouver is excellent. I recommend you check out the Translink Canada website for a detailed itinerary. It will direct you to the YVR Canada Line station, where for $7.75 you can purchase a two-zone ticket to downtown via the train to Waterfront. The ticket is good for 90 minutes, so you will need only one to use both the train and bus to get to the hotel. The Translink site will tell you to get off the train at Vancouver City Centre station, and which bus to take from which nearby stop, depending on your arrival time. I hope you have great weather and an enjoyable trip. I recommend Pizza Fabrika, which is just a few blocks from The Greenbrier. David
