The hostel was clean and comfy with very friendly staff. However there were a couple nights in a row where the quiet time was not enforced at all making it quite difficult to sleep. Otherwise a great space with nice touches like individual lamps on...More
I stayed at Samesun in a 4 bed dorm. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, the bathrooms were clean, and the food at the beaver was a great price. However, my room was facing the main street and was on...More

Hello. We do offer towels free of charge to guests, and we hand them out at the front desk. The bathroom renovations are also complete now. There is AC in the building as well, but it is not the most powerful at times as it...More
There are some considerable problems with this hostel: first of all, the rooms are very hot, and have a poor and dirty ventilation; second of all, there's no escalator, so my friends and i had to carry our heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs;...More
First impression when walking through the door: very stuffy and dark atmosphere. My friends and I were given room 300, which is possibly the worst room I have ever seen in my life. When opening the door to the main staircase, a horrendous smell of...More

Thank god for the renovated showers! The staff was kinda pretentious and stand offish. The building kind of has a boarding school vibe.
The price is really expensive for a hostel though ... for real .. lol

Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy
social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.

None of our dorms are on the same floor as reception. The closest floor has all of those room types. By boat tour do you mean the cruise terminal? If so yes, it is a ten minute walk or minute taxi. There are lots of cheap places to eat near us. We don't offer a late checkout but we do have free bag storage. There are no airport transfers in Vancouver as the Skytrain takes your right there and leaves 3 blocks away from us. The train starts running at 4:50am.
