Detailed Reviews
This was an incredible spot that met all my needs. I attended a conference in Vancouver and this was the perfect central location, downtown. It’s walking distance to shops and restaurants - and a short ride to the trade centre. The space is warm, inviting, and a better alternative to a hotel. The full kitchen and laundry make for an extremely confortable stay - and the concierge service (via text) is fast, efficient, and helpful. I will stay here every chance I get - and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver for work or pleasure. You won’t be disappointed.

Luxury apartment accommodations in Downtown Vancouver? Look no further! - Smithe House is located in the heart of the city close to some of the city's best restaurants, shopping and attractions. We absolutely loved our stay! The check in experience was seamless, and the room was gorgeous. Everything was brand new, modern and to top it off... a very cozy bed! all the comforts of being at home. It was so nice to have a full kitchen and washer and dryer during our stay. Looking forward to our next visit!

The location is excellent.
Smithe House has apartments, not hotel rooms.
The modern apartments, with a very well designed decor and with very good taste, with all services included and excellent location in Vancouver.
We felt in the very comfortable alias, as if in my own house and I am honest that I am not very fanatic of this kind of stays.
I've stayed in one of the best hotels and I like to be stunned, but the Smithe House was perfectly accommodated in Vancouver.
Honestly it was a positive experience.
I highly recommend it (but make sure you have one!).

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! Bars, restaurants and shops are conveniently within a short walking distance. Also, luxury luxury and more luxury. The place is safe and convenient. Our room was huge and so well equipped with everything you would need for an apartment. The bed was comfortable so we had restful sleep. I would highly recommend for both business and pleasure as well as long term and short term. In fact, it would be my first choice when I return to Vancouver.

+1
The place is really very nice and very modern. Of these new hotels that do not have a reception or constant service. You're there for yourself and that kind of independence is wonderful. Being totally new, of course it offers many advantages.
Its location is perfect a block and a half from the stadium. The bus passes one block and the subway two. The building is beautiful inside and out. The bed delicious, the towels well fluffed, and they offer you very soft and warm gowns. Good, general lighting and the enormous advantage of having a great washer and dryer inside the room that makes many things easier for you.
The shower lacks some pressure and they forgot to leave a brush to wash the toilet, but it is a very modern and attractive bathroom. The refrigerator hidden inside the kitchen furniture is also very good quality as is the freezer. They are not very large but wide enough. I am very grateful that there was a pan, which they always forget in this type of accommodation and which is very much needed.
Shelves for dishes and other electric utilities are placed very high. Trash cans under the sink are uncomfortable and very small. There's a big trash can missing where you can throw things around without making your life complicated. I bought mine for four dollars and that solved the problem.
It has a dishwasher, it has an electric stove and an oven that serve very well once you figure out how to handle them. It has various coffee makers and toaster and a super spectacular microwave oven. What I never found were pots or pans. So it was impossible to cook on the stove. I don't know if they forgot to put them here or what because it's very basic.
The paintings that adorn the space are modern, attractive and provide a lot of peace, as are the plants that even if they are plastic are very beautiful. The view is nice though I don't understand how they haven't left a single window that could open. There's no way in some fresh air to vent the space. If you put a loaf on toast and it burns a shore, immediately all the alarms go off and you have to open the door to the outside for the smoke to come out.
The curtains are totally Blackout although due to how new the building is mine at least were not well installed and all came off. They fixed them right away but a place like this should have roller blinds and not curtains that you pull because they're so big and uncomfortable. The closets are spacious and the television beautiful and gigantic. It has a good table that can serve as a dining room or a patio and a small table with two very modern armchairs that say, would be a very comfortable room. But here comes the next big problem of this beauty of the place. There's not a single drawer to store your stuff. There's furniture under the TV that's apparently made to be drawers but never cut out. I mean, you have nowhere to accommodate your clothes.
The price of these suites varies considerably from date to date. It can go from $170 to $250 to $350 and sometimes up to $800 a night. You have to look for him to find the best option. As I noticed, the difference between a studio and what follows is a separate bedroom suite is about $10 to $20. Then I suggest that in case more than one person comes it may be very convenient to pay the difference and have more space and I expect drawers.
My bottom line is... I highly recommend this place simply be aware of its shortcomings which I hope the owners will fix as we customers tell them what they were wrong. Still thank you very much for a wonderful and comfortable stay.
