We were so pleased about everything with this hotel. Nice large suite, full kitchen. The washer-dryer sure came in handy when AirCanada failed to deliver our luggage. The room was cleaned once during our week stay, which is fine. Staff were very helpful and every interaction we had was professional and courteous. THe rooftop patio was amazing. Great views from up there, nice place to chill out after a long day.
The location is great, a few minutes walk from Stanley Park and several places to rent bikes. A ton of restaurants as well. We only used public transport while in Vancouver, and the hotel is conveniently located near a number of bus stops that will take you to the metro or anywhere you might want to visit.
I saw several other reviews that commented on the street noise. We had the AC running at night, and it created enough white noise that we weren't bothered by any street noise. Speaking of the AC, it might be less comfortable if you are visiting during a heatwave, as it was fairly small and wouldn't be able to cool down the entire place, so that would be something to keep in mind. I would still 100% return to this hotel for future travels to Vancouver.

I am sure I have reviewed the Times Square Suites before but with our recent stay I will do it again. First, my impression is that this secured building houses condos which are for rent. I do not know this for sure but I have done this elsewhere and it feels the same. We had a one bedroom suite as usual. It had a full kitchen with utensils, measuring cups, baking dishes, large refrigerator, dishwasher and a table for four. There was an ironing board, umbrellas, flatscreen TV with cable, and a radio. It has an ironing board as well as a FREE washer and dryer IN ROOM. It comes with one packet of soap. Others are available at the desk. There was no A/C but there was both heating and a humidifier. The bathroom was efficient and pleasant with bath and shower. The furniture was a bit dated and is probably due for some new paint in the near future. The bed was large and has it's own flatscreen TV. As I mentioned it is totally secured and is watched over by the reception area. The location is wonderful, at Robson and Denman. It is a close walk to downtown and the waterfront attractions. Stanley Park is just around the corner. You can also walk down to the ferry that takes you to Granville Island for fun food, a food hall, and many restaurants and distilleries. Art shops too. Plenty of nice places to eat within 5-15 minute walk, everything from breakfast places to McDonalds, Safeway, Whole Foods, and Starbucks right next door.
Considering hotel prices in Vancouver it is a steal, whichever type of room you choose. We have learned to book several months out to have best choice of room types. They currently have both a non-refundable as well as a refundable rate on each room. We picked refundable just in case (cruise was to follow) we had to cancel.

As the name suggests, all rooms are suites and had everything and more that we needed.
There was a very large open plan area with the lounge, TV, dining table and kitchen. There was a small balcony off the lounge, which was standing room only, but a good way to get fresh air in. There was a small utility room off the open plan area with a washing machine and dryer (very beneficial).
The bedroom had a huge and comfortable bed and pillows. There was a double closet as well as a chest of drawers and bed side tables.
The bathroom was very spacious, with the sink within the actual bathroom (which we prefer).
There was no housekeeping (related to Covid-19), but we were only staying for 4 nights so this was not a problem for us. Reception were able to provide anything we needed.
Also, not offering breakfast was not a problem for us, as there are plenty of bakeries, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket all in eye shot of the hotel.
We thought it a little unusual when we read that the reception is based within the parking garage, but this actually worked really well. Upon check in, we were issued with a key-fob to open the garage door, and we were happy to leave our car locked in the secure garage.
All the reception staff were polite, helpful and friendly.
The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk to Stanley Park.
We will stay here again when we are next in Vancouver.

This building appears to have been an old apartment block, which would explain the large size suites. We stayed in a one bedroom which had a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, full size fridge, range, dishwasher, and all the plates, glasses, and flatware). The suite was exceptionally clean and the overall building was well looked after. There was a small balcony, a TV in each room, and a gas fire place as well. Furniture-wise there was a couch, coffee table, arm-chair, and a sturdy kitchen table with four seats.
The location was awesome. Literally situated on top of a Starbucks, there are many other options nearby for coffee or full course meals.
There is really no lobby to speak of and the check-in office is located in the parkade. However, everything is easy to access by elevator or stairs. Also, part of the building is built on a slope, so the hallway consists of flat sections connected by short ramps. Could be a but more difficult to navigate if in a wheelchair.
A great centrally located place to stay in Vancouver if you prefer having a bit of room to stretch out in and entertain guests. Recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Times Square Suites. Nothing to complain about. We loved having a suite instead of a typical hotel room, since we were there for a full week. Having a full kitchen was nice too, even though we didn't really cook on this trip, but on a future trip we might buy some things at the Granville Market to bring home to cook. The king-size bed was comfy. The whole apartment was very clean, especially the bathroom and kitchen. The fireplace in the living room was very romantic and cozy. the secure parking was great for peace-of-mind. The staff was very nice and friendly. The location was close to many restaurants that we walked to, which was nice since it was raining a lot (for example, Tavola, Banana Leaf, Dinesty Dumpling House, Tetsu, Breka). Also, having the Safeway right across the street was extremely convenient for coffee, beverages, paper towels, forgotten toiletries, snacks, etc. I simply can't think of anything negative to say about our stay, except maybe that the bathroom was a bit small, and so was the clothes closet. But we could have used the coat closet in the living room if necessary (didn't need to, but could've). Also, it's good to know that the LR and BR both have A/C units, in case we visit again in the summertime.

We are from Manitoba and come to Vancouver in the winter to get in some warmer weather walking, and it’s green! This is our first time at Times Square Suites and we are so impressed. It’s a perfect location for Stanley Park walking and the whole of downtown is close by. Suites are lovely, very well maintained, and with everything we could need. It’s just like home, but a holiday.

This suites hotel is in an absolute perfect location. The three room suite is both comfortable, extremely clean, well furnished, and a delightful place. The front desk staff is so friendly and accommodating. They help provide us with restaurant ideas and things to do in the area. The sweet even has a stackable washer and dryer which really comes in handy. The location is walking distance to everything and is surrounded by every ethnic restaurant imaginable. A full-size grocery store is right around the corner. If I could rate this from 1 to 10, I would give it an 11.

We stayed at TSS for 5 nights it was in a great location we loved strolling down to Stanley park for pretty walking trails and cycle rides along sea wall to English Bay. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the suites beautifully clean. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed BBQs on the rooftop patio and so easy to get supplies from Safeway supermarket, Starbucks and international cuisines literally by the front door. An excellent base for tourists to discover Vancouver!
Well worth a stay!

Located in the West End area of Vancouver, Times Square Suites (TSS) is incredibly positioned. It's located 2 blocks walk to Stanley Park, and located on bus routes that link to Vancouver's light rail system. We used bought prepaid Compass cards for Translink's public transportation, and used them for our 4-night stay at TSS. We were able to get a direct bus to Capilano suspension bridge right outside TSS. Later, at the end of our trip, we used the bus to transfer to the light rail, which took us to YVR Vancouver Airport.
The main advantage of staying at the West End is access to a variety of asian foods. They have Chinese dumplings, Vietnamese pho and banh mi, Korean fried chicken, and Japanese sushi/ramen/katsu. They also have many French inspired bakeries and for TSS, a Safeway grocery store across the street.

If you ever want to experience apartment living in Vancouver this is it. This place is absolutely charming and so well equipped with thoughtful little touches. It is spotlessly clean. The staff are super friendly and the location is perfect whether you want to get your own groceries to cook or eat out. It is at a quieter end of Robson Street, not so near the main shopping belt and nearer Stanley Park.

We had a suite overlooking the construction area and no issues what so ever. Construction was during the day while we were out being tourists. It was very peaceful and quiet at night and early morning. BTW, we loved this hotel and its location.
Parking is $25CDN per night and the drive to the airport is around 45 minutes
$25CDN per night
Yes to both, but I suggest a little longer than Gail M above - 25 mins to each
Yes and if there isn’t one in that room the wonderful owners will accommodate you on that request
