Room was large but not very clean, lots of dust and I shared my shower with a large bug - ugh! On a positive note, gentleman at the front desk was outstanding. Overpriced for what we got, stayed in the salmon room, king bed but again the pillows were so cheap. Disappointed.

Last week my business partner and I intended to stay one night in this hotel but stayed three. The atmosphere was cozy, our floor had a smudge room and waterfall, beautiful original art works and the artist accommodation for First Nations on the second floor touched me. I think this concept is so great and to see it executed so well is inspiring. Thank you to Richard and his front desk team for being so kind and helpful. We felt right at home.

Our family of 4 stayed one night and will definitely book again! The room was unique, sleek, and comfortable. We were supplied extra towels, helped to unload and store our kayak, and were looked after so kindly. The spirit and expression of culture at Skwachàys was like an oasis in the city. We would love to see more of this and count ourselves lucky to have found this amazing little spot! We highly recommend reserving your vacation stay here! Neighborhood attractions: Jam Cafe, The Downtown Skatepark, False Creek Seawall, Chinatown businesses, and of course the gallery & shop right at Skwachàys.

Rick provided an amazing stay at for us every step of the way at Skwachàys Lodge! We were upgraded to the king suite where the bed was very comfortable and so quiet as the windows overlook the courtyard. The sage and mint body wash was amazing. The location is within walking distance to everything in the downtown core, including excellent restaurants, Chinatown and eclectic urban life. Rick was very attentive about the current COVID restrictions and made us feel at ease for our whole stay. Also, the proceeds for our lodging go to the indigenous artists in residence which is a fantastic initiative. Overall, a really cool, creative, and welcoming stay in Vancouver. We'll definitely be recommending Skwachàys Lodge to our family and friends! Thanks so much Rick for a fabulous stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at Skwachàys Lodge and Gallery about five years ago while on a work trip. It was such a treat staying in this historical and unique hotel. My room was the Drum Circle Room. In addition to one-of-a-kind and beautifully designed rooms, this hotel also offers Indigenous art and other amenities that other hotels don't. I also love the concept of revitalizing this charming old building and turning it into a social enterprise that benefits the local community. If only there were more inns like this throughout Canada. I look forward to the next time I am visiting the area, I will stay at the Skwachàys Lodge and Gallery again for sure!
