Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.

We usually stay at another boutique hotel close by when we’re in Vancouver for a night. We’d seen and heard about the Hotel BLU on our last visit and thought we’d try it as it was closer to a restaurant we wanted to go to. We arrived, I asked for early checkin and had a room at

I had the loft room. It's absolutely huge. Nice size bathroom with tub and shower combo. It had a shower head and a hand held shower head. Nothing is worse than an immobile shower head, so this is alway a plus in my books. Dispensers with shampoo, conditioner and shower

What is the price for breakfast?
Sorry for the late reply. Our breakfast was included in the room rate! The breakfast buffet was delicious.

Can anyone tell me what the breakfast is like at this hotel please ?
Breakfast is okay not great, just a normal western buffet breakfast style: egg Benedict, scambled egg, bacon, breads, pastries, muffins, cereals, small varieties of drinks, etc. it’s a small restaurant probably 20 persons capacity located at the second floor next to the gym. They have food I love : eggplant with cheese and stuffed mushrooms.

Good afternoon, Thank you for your question. The station is a short walk from our Hotel. Vancouver is a very safe city however like every major city safety can not be guaranteed especially in the very early hours of the morning. I would recommend taking a taxi which is relatively cheap, approximately $6-8. I look forward to welcoming you to Hotel Blu. Regards, Richard Carty Guest services manager

Hi. Do you have Airport Transfer Buses.
No. There is instead a very quick train type transit called the Canada Line which goes from the airport to downtown Vancouver in one direction and to Richmond in the other direction. It is far faster than taking a bus or taxi all the way. You can then taxi or walk (about 8 minutes) to the hotel. I always walk. I know Vancouver city centre pretty well and enjoy the walk.
