We have recently enjoyed a week at Granville House whilst visiting our daughter. We were delighted with all aspects of our stay. Having found Granville House on the internet (not via our daughter who visited for the first time the night before our arrival to leave a gift - how lovely!) from our initial contact to our arrival no problems....

My husband and I happened to find Granville House after a fruitless search for a local hotel. Thank goodness we did...this was much better than anything we would have found in the same price range. The room was immaculate and huge (we stayed in the Cedar suite) - beautiful bathroom with soaker tub and full shower, along with a separate...

This bed and breakfast is located in an extremely lovely part of Vancouver city. It was very easy to reach downtown by bus, or car. The room was absolutely lovely, very clean, comfortable bed, new bathroom with a very comfortable soaker tub, shower, and separate sitting room. This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and we could...

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Granville House B&B for 7 nights and we could not find one fault. Pam and Randy are friendly and attentive hosts and we always felt that we could approach them with any questions. We stayed in the Birch room which was spacious, clean and comfortable (and very welcoming after a 10 hour flight...

This home is very well cared for inside and out! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Conveniently located between the airport and downtown Vancouver. The hosts are a young couple doing a great job at raising a family and caring for two properties. They make sure their guests are comfortable, satisfied and informed about the surroundings. It sure was...

We stayed for two nights in the Birch Suite. The room is lovely, spacious and full of light, with a very comfortable king-sized bed and a beautiful bathroom. We had been concerned about noise from Granville Street, but our room looked out onto the back garden and we were not bothered by street noise. The breakfast room was extremely well-appointed...

We had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at the Granville B & B and it was outstanding. The room was very spacious, well presented and had the most amazing king size bed. We slept wonderfully every night. The bathroom was huge and stocked with wonderful toiletries. Thank you to our host Pam (husband Randy was away sailing) for being...

I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The owners went above and beyond to make my stay very comfortable - and even though I had an early a.m. meeting,(forcing me to miss their breakfast schedule) they were waiting with my breakfast when I got back which was so lovely of them. The room I stayed in was deluxe and I...

We llive in Langley B.C. and love to get away from the responsibilities of owning a house but love the "at home feeling". We have stayed at the Granville House B&B on numerous occasions and leave feeling very relaxed and well taken care of. The surroundings are beautiful and we love the attention to detail. Delicious food and very comfortable...

The Granville House facilities and the hosts are exceptional. As frequent visitors to Vancouver, this has become our "home away from home." We travel extensively in Canada, U.S. & Europe and have fairly high standards for accommodations as this is an important part of our travel experience. This is our favourite B&B and has become the only one we book...

Staying in Shaughnessy

Neighbourhood Profile
Shaughnessy
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
