My husband booked this hotel for our 8th wedding anniversary, so I didn't know what to expect. I was soon pleasantly surprised. We arrived in Victoria, B.C. earlier than the check-in time, but decided to go to the front desk to inquire about keeping our luggage there until then. We were greeted by a very professional bright-eyed and smiling young gentleman named Jose. He noticed that we had booked a 2-bed room and asked us if we would like to upgrade to the available suite that had a king-sized bed, assuring us that we would love it. We agreed to and told him we were staying for our anniversary. Jose was elated at this news and continued giving us top-notch service, making sure we had all of the toiletries we needed and providing us with vouchers for dessert in their restaurant.…

This was a fantastic hotel and we could not have asked for a better location! It was in walking distance of everything we wanted to see and more! The views were spectacular, the room was phenomenal and the staff were excellent!

If there was a way we could have stayed for more than just four days we would have loved to. The hotel decor was exceptional, the staff was wonderful (a special thanks to the housekeeping staff) and the amenities were top drawer. The location was also perfect, right on the water on the middle of downtown.

My mom and I are long time and loyal patrons of this hotel. It is always our hotel of choice whenever we come to Victoria. This visit was no exception. We would first like to commend their courteous and accommodating front desk staff. Secondly, we commend Spencer, the bellhop, who was prompt, courteous, and efficient in bringing our luggage from our room to our car. Thirdly, we wish to commend the care and courtesy of David in the Athletic Centre. And last, but not least, we wish to thank Paul in maintenance, who, upon our late night request for help, arrived in our room in minutes. Paul spent well over half an hour masterfully fixing both devices which required repair. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff members of the Grand Pacific for their outstanding service.…

I’ll start by saying that the staff at this hotel were superb. At a time when business struggle to find help, this property has struck gold. Easy check in, very clean, nice room. Across from ferry dock, it’s easy access, while at the same time close to downtown/government street. A great option for those not wanting to spend the extra money at the Empress, yet still have a great room at a beautiful property.

We booked through BC Ferries Vacation; 2 night stay gives you free parking (at time of our travel); Hotel has EV charging stations (I believe there were 6 stalls) (not free - very nominal) We had a nice balcony with a partial view of the city.

Very secure clean and welcoming. Would stay again every time. Great location and gym and restaurant. Friendly staff and great on site parking. We loved the suite with French doors separating the room so parents and one teenager could sleep well and have privacy.

We took the Victoria Clipper from Seattle to Victoria and booked the hotel as a package with the tickets. The arrival terminal is nearly right across the street from the hotel. The check-in staff member we met was friendly, courteous, and professional (thank you Jose for your excellent customer service!) Our room was great--comfortable, clean, and faced the harbor, which gave us a perfect view of the Empress Hotel, inner harbor, and the "Pickle Boat Ballet" performances Saturday and Sunday morning. Victoria has a lot to offer within walking distance of the hotel. Great location, great staff and rooms, highly recommended!

This hotel was perfect for our stay in the harbor. The rooms were fantastic and the service was excellent. Parking is limited in the harbor so the convenience of underground parking is greatly appreciated. We absolutely loved the atmosphere of the lounge and the service we received.
