One of the most beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in. They also had WiFi and plenty of electrical outlets. Breakfast was delicious, served in courses and takes about an hour. Staff very accommodating with information on local area, as well as arrival and departure logistics. Neighborhood is very safe and is within blocks of several attractions that we walked to.... More

We really enjoyed our two nights at the Beaconsfield Inn, full of Edwardian charm and antiques/collectibles. Afternoon tea and evening sherry in the wood-panelled library was a nice touch, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very attentive and helpful , and our room spacious and comfortable. Convenient for restaurants and the main attractions by the harbour. It reminded... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the Beaconsfield to celebrate our anniversary. We booked through Tripadvisor and got a great rate on the room. I received an email within hours from the property manager asking about our time of arrival and any special requests. When I let her know we were celebrating our anniversary, she placed us in a romantic... More

This is a hard review for us to write, because we liked the staff and the architecture of the Inn, as well as the decor, furnishings and atmosphere. But we DID have problems. From first flush, the toilet never worked right, and we ended up leaving the tank lid off and lifting the interior flush arm by hand. The TV... More

I enjoyed my stay at the inn, but my husband wasn't just so enamoured. He found the dark furniture a bit dreary and gloomy, however i just accepted it as being in the style of the hotel. It is situated about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Victoria so is well located and in a nice quiet neighbourhood.... More

It is really important to find a comfortable place to relax when you are travelling. I just want to say I lOVE this place!!!! The room is quiet cleaned and they provide every essential things we need. They even have the hot tub outside, which is really nice. By the way, I love the breakfast there. Sooo delicious.

Our family of 3 stayed here early August for two nights. The place is very quiet and in a very nice residential neiboughhood. We walked to all the attractions. At the end of the day we came back as if it was our own house. The bed is very comfortable and room spacious. We thought we were the only guests... More

Very close to downtown. An easy walk to downtown and the harbor. A very gracious and accommodating hostess. Room was beautiful. Hate taking showers in old claw foot tubs - but that's what you get with historical buildings. Breakfast was average and uninteresting -- otherwise 5 stars.

The Beaconsfield B&B is in a home that is over 100 yrs old but the property has been kept in excellent condition and has had some additions to the original structure. While we enjoy staying at B&Bs, we especially enjoy the older buildings, which have much more character. The Beaconsfield is a well-kept, very clean B&B with a nicely planted... More

Nice location good for walking the city. Accommodating to our early departure with food to go. Not overly managed. You have the wonderful opportunity to feel like it is your home. Could gather with other guests in the library or just come and go on your own. My husband loves the poached salmon breakfast.
