Great room, very clean, and quiet. Jessica at front desk super friendly and helpful. Ruby restaurant attached to lobby, very handy for breakfast (good variety, friendly servers). Hotel is centrally localted, 8 min walk to Royal Theatre. Many good places to eat within walking distance.

Superior staff; very friendly and helpful, clean room with very comfortable beds. Walking distance to museum, Parliament buildings, Harbour, Government St shopping so much more. A must is breakfast at the Ruby, so delicious.

The location was very good (close to city centre with many shops and convinience stores nearby, within walking distance. The bed and room were clean and comfortable - it was also recently renovated which was refreshing and well-done. The staff were amazingly friendly, helpful, and kind, especially the concierege who went above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing stay possible. I deeply appreciated their cheerful attitude at all hours of the day and welcoming environment.

Very clean and spacious rooms, easy walking around all of downtown. Very courteous staff. Comfortable beds with nice bedding. Bathroom has the best soap dispensers, hand cream, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Will definitely go there again.

Stayed for several nights, family of 5, room with 2 doubles and a fold-out couch. Pros: Room was clean and had enough space for the 5 of us. Kitchenette was very handy for breakfasts and take-out dinners in room. Location is easy walking distance to many sights and close to bus stops. Good value for stay. Friendly staff, easily got refills of items when needed. Workout room had good set of weights that I used a couple of times. Room was mostly quiet at night. Cons: Location can feel a little gritty sometimes - the neighborhood was more run-down than I expected. Towels are thin. Noise comes in easily from hallway, though this was only a problem in the middle of the night twice, and neither time for very long. Bathroom vent didn't work so well so our room was pretty humid with 5 people showering every day. The room could use some more touches like hooks for hanging dish towels (had to leave them on countertop), more hanging space for bathroom towels, move bathroom light switch closer to bathroom, etc. …

Stayed 4 nights family of 5. Staff at checkin was friendly. Family Suite was big an clean. Valet easy(recommend advising ahead of time when you need vehicle.Rubys for brunch excellent. Wonderful stay!

Staff is awesome!! Location is very central to everything downtown. Parking is not included but they valet your car for you. For the price this is the best you get in Victoria. Other hotels at this rate are in not so nice areas and not so nice.

Right down town, blocks from China town. Lots to see and do. Full kitchens in the suites, great value. No parking in the area but $18 a day for in and out privileges was a good value. Housekeeping only on request for multi stays but we didn’t need it. We will go back

We had our bathroom flood from the floor above, and hotel staff (not housekeeping) were quick to help clean up and provide new bathroom set up. Housekeeping cleaned first thing when back on shift! Shout out to Caitlyn who always had a big smile and cheerful hello for us!!

Staff were very friendly upon arrival and organized. My room was clean and bed was comfortable to sleep in. However, the entire night I could hear the people outside from my window yelling. There was even music playing on my floor until late at night. Used the earplugs provided on my night stand but it didn't help much.
