My daughter and I stayed there for 2 nights. We caught the bus from the ferry terminal and were dropped off right across the road. We had a beautiful large room with 2 queen beds. We were given a voucher for a cheese platter in the bar. Also for a pastry and coffee/tea for breakfast. The staff were very friendly...

Dear dpjulie, How nice it is that your daughter and you had a weekend away with one another. Doesn’t it feel great to take the public transit? It is a real adventure. As nice as public transit is, it is even nicer when it conveniently drops you off right in front of your destination so you don’t have to walk...

My husband and I took a last minute trip from north van to Victoria this past weekend. We booked at the Rialto and were very pleased. The staff at the front desk were very professional and welcoming. I must admit I forgot the name of the guy at the front desk but he was really great when we arrived and...

Dear tricia w, It sounds like your quick weekend away was filled with fun, food and fabulous-ness! The night you arrived, Enes was the man on the desk and Derek was on valet/bell service; YES, they certainly dial up the “coolness” factor in our hotel! We are very proud of our housekeeping team, they take such pride in ensuring our...

Booked a two night stay here over the family day weekend. Friendly and helpful front desk staff, they even suggested a place a block away to park when we said we didn't want valet parking. Coffee and croissant in the morning were a nice treat. We also had a drink and the free cheese plate at the hotel restaurant. Hotel...

Dear souschef2, Thank you for your review and for you recommendation. We truly appreciate your feedback. I am glad to hear the city parking worked for your needs. We now offer valet, but it is nice to know that there are self-parking options that are also close-by and affordable. Considering we are a downtown, there are many urban noises in...

We stayed one night and loved it. Comfortable bed, helpful staff and the complimentary cheese tray and pastry in the morning were great! Only complaint is that there is no way to hook up the PC to the TV... pretty minor. The attached Tapas bar was excellent. Will stay here again!

We booked through Hotwire, not knowing what we were going to get. What a great surprise! This old hotel was renovated in 2009. In what was once a seedier part of town, revitalization has done a lot for the neighbourhood. It's right downtown. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. It has a nice cafe...

Picked this hotel at random for a single night stay in Victoria with a business colleague. What a little gem this place is! Friendly and efficient check in with valet parking - $22 for overnight. Room price very economical at $100 with a couple of vouchers, one for a light breakfast and the other for a complimentary cheese plate at...

Beautiful hotel in downtown Victoria. Hotel Rialto offers superior customer service and hotel rooms. The bar downstairs was an added bonus with a nicely curated wine and beer list. Highly recommend for business travel or a romantic getaway.

We take an annual January mini vacation in Victoria - usually with another couple. This year we chose the Rialto for it's price discount and location. Our friends chose a room with Queen bed and we chose a junior suite with king bed, giving us the room to congregate when not out sightseeing/dining. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The staff...

We planned to visit Victoria and found this lovely boutique hotel in the heart of beautiful Victoria. Our experience couldn't have been any better, right from the reservations to checkout. Enis and Jerry were the two front desk gentlemen who provided a great first impression. Our room, which was 'an inside' room, was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and quiet....

Wonderful staff, very welcoming. Like added touch of complimentary breakfasts and cheese plate in best bar in Victoria. Food good and worthy of eating there. Rooms very comfortable but beware of choosing room away from noise of nightclubs on back of premises. Other rooms are very quiet with lovely bathrooms and comfortable beds and quality linens.
