This was a home run. Lovely Hotel in the middle of Victoria. Easy access to restaurants, whale watching, biking. Be sure to rent bikes and ride the shore and also up the Galloping Goose Trail. Breakfast was awesome. No need to eat anywhere else. Staff was fantastic. Super helpful and polite and friendly. Bed was fantastically comfortable. I highly recommend...

The Rialto is located just a few blocks from the Inner Harbour of VIctoria, we walked everywhere from here. First the room(s). Spacious, nice bedsheets, great AC (it could have been a little warmer when we walked in!), and clean. Only complaint about the room, and its minor, is that the shower enclosure is kind of tiny. Its the only...

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the room was great although a little noisy on the Douglas Street side. Front desk staff were a little slow with check in/out, but very pleasant. Good value and the restaurants (both the café and the tapas bar) were outstanding! Will definitely stay there again.

The Hotel Rialto is a wonderful hotel: great downtown location (close to restaurants, shopping, China Town, parks, waterfronts), wonderful staff (treated us very well, offered excellent restaurant suggestions and a great tip for Canada Day celebrations) and a thoroughly enjoyable room (clean, up-to-date furniture, beautiful bathroom). The room was a bit on the smaller side, but that's a minute detail...

Great location, nice decor. We stayed in one of the junior suites, which was tiny so I'm happy we spent the extra $20. I can only imagine how small the regular rooms are. Well decorated, there was a dirty smudge on the dresser drawer though, they could have cleaned it if they had tried. Liked the complimentary cheese tray and...

Friends chose this hotel for our Victoria weekend because it doesn't allow pets (and they are severely allergic). The location is great -- walkable to many interesting locations including the harbor, shopping, great restaurants, and the anthropology museum. There was a music festival around the corner, but we were able to get quiet rooms on an internal courtyard (well, airshaft,...

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer! The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice, large room that comfortably fit our family of four. We loved the complimentary cheese plate - generous serving size and delicious. Breakfast was also great. We plan to stay here the next time we are in...

A 27th wedding anniversary should be special, so we returned to the province where we spent our honeymoon. We hadn't been to Victoria in years, and wanted someplace more unique and special than your run-of-the-mill chain hotels. The Rialto caught our eye immediately while browsing through the travel sites. It is every bit as special as the advertising makes it...

Hotel Rialto is easily accessible and well located. The staff are the highlight of the stay. They are so helpful and warm. Great cafe & bar located on the ground floor of the hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was clean. They have black-out curtains and ear-plugs so you are able to have a great night's rest.
