This hotel was a wonderful surprise. The outside is quite plain which is at first misleading. The location is prime, quite close to the inner Harbour, parliament buildings and downtown. The hotel offers parking which is a bonus in busy Victoria. Our room was large and clean and quiet. We also had a balcony. The cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, fresh food with lots of choice. The staff here are also very attentive and the chef is constantly checking on the buffet items. This is a well run hotel which more than makes up for its unassuming facade. We will definitely stay again in the future.

I stayed at the Embassy Inn for two nights. From the outside, the hotel is very unassuming and even the lobby looks very clean but simple. However, I was so pleasantly surprised with my stay. First, the location is perfect, just right on the Causeway Marina by the Parliament building. The room was big and beautiful, with high vaulted ceilings, a balcony and a super comfortable king sized bed. It was very clean and both the bed sheets and the towels were soft and good quality. Parking was free, which I found really helpful. Breakfast was included and it was really good: eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles, cereal, fruit and the chef was there all the time by the buffet making sure everybody was being served properly. I loved this hotel and if I ever go back to Victoria I will sure stay here again.

The staff were was quite friendly and very helpful. The property was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was above the norm for similar properties. Loved the Belgian waffles and variety of coffee in the fancy coffee machine. And the hotel was located within short walking distance of Parliament, the wharf, and shopping areas.

As regular winter long stay visitors (1 - 3 months ) we made an extra visit this year to celebrate a birthday in the town. Victoria is lovely any time of the year, but September flowers and colours add to the many walking choices that showcase the ocean. This hotel is ideally located close to the Inner Harbour, and the friendliness of the staff and superb cleanliness of the rooms unbeatable anywhere (plus a buffet breakfast always of the highest standard).

Just returned from a two night stay at the Embassy Inn. Had a king room. Really enjoyed our experience. Everyone was super friendly, the room was clean and the furnishings were great. Great location too. Awesome breakfast buffet was included as was free parking. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning to stay in the future. Only thing that would make this location better would be a bar/restaurant to enjoy in the evenings. There are lots of restaurants nearby though.

We are happy to hear you had a great stay with us. We do have a quiet little lounge for our hotel guests to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer during your stay and our friendly staff would be happy to serve you. Our main focus for food services is to provide our guests with a delicious full hot and cold breakfast to start their stay with breakfast being the most important meal of the day they say. We find most hotel guests like to sample the great food Victoria restaurants have to offer during their visits.

I was delighted to find this utterly charming hotel. It was so close to other larger and more prestigious hotels, but the Embassy was much better! It was smaller, intimate, peaceful and considerably much better value than other hotels in this prime area. It even had it's own garden, yet just across the road from the iconic Government House. Spotlessly clean and with friendly and welcoming staff, we could not have wished for anything more. Apart from all that a simple breakfast, which was more than adequate, was included in the price. A big thankyou to the Embassy team, perfect Ambassadors for sure!!!

This year on vacation we stayed at 18 different hotels, 59 in the past 3 years. All brands. This hotel rated #1. What makes it #1? The first thing is the staff. Before making our reservation I called the hotel twice. The answers I received were polite, accurate, and friendly. At our age movement isn't swift. When we arrived the gardener offered to help. The room cleaner returned the cart to the lobby. My wife wanted to sit and chat with a friend. The manager sat them in two comfortable chairs and showed them how to get hot drinks. Didn't see anything that needed repair. Sorry, but one area they were not #1 was the breakfast. It was similar to what you get with most major brands. A hotel in Matane Quebec and another in Bathurst New Brunswick had them beat. The hotel location for Victoria is ideal.

My husband and I very much enjoyed staying in this well located hotel. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the harbor. The room was very comfortable and so were the beds. I think every room would be very quiet since there is a lovely lawn area in front of the hotel and the back of the hotel faces a quiet street. The staff were very nice and helpful. The included breakfast was very complete with something for everyone. Victoria is a very beautiful and charming city and this is a perfect hotel to stay in while there.
