Robin Hood Inn and Suites Victoria – fresh air right at your doorstep. Have you been dreaming of waking up and be greeted my fresh air, nature and quite peace? This is the perfect place for you. Me and my husband Pierre had made the best choice to finish our Victoria trip. After staying near downtown, it was time for us to go something new and far, yet within reach. Rooms are made for comfort, clean and functional. Towels are special Egyptian threads, which is usually available to 5 stars hotels. We also have complimentary shampoos, soap and conditioner - eco friendly brand called Beekind. One morning, we tried their free starbucks brand single serve coffee and its just right to start our day. What made our stay amazing is the kindest act offered by Sam. He is the hotel Property Manager (we think). It was 6 AM, raining and we are about to head out to the airport. Front desk advice that we cannot avail the shuttle transfer because the rule says only from 9AM onwards. Yet, Mr. Sam graciously offered his service and valuable stories while driving. Good deeds touch our hearts. Thank you Sam. We wish you all the best in your life! Sam sparks with light!

Dear Rowena, Thank you for your title of Above Average and for giving us five bubbles. At a regular hotel, you might smell the scent of the day or the hallway. However, The most significant difference that stands out is the fresh ocean air. Our award-winning Housekeeping team appreciates your comments about the room cleanliness and getting recognized for their hard work in keeping the hotel spic and span for our guests. We know that if you don't have a good night's rest, what is the point of staying at a hotel? I am glad that you enjoyed our Opulence Collection of linens, Synthetic Down Pillows, and Egyptian Cotton Towels. We continue to enhance our guest sleep experience. The BEEKIND toiletries reduce 92% of the waste, and a part of the revenue goes to bee health research at the University of California. We do our best to treat our guests as we would like to be treated. We have recently added some videos on YouTube, Canad's Resort City - Robin Hood Inn & Suites. Sam would be so pleased to see the review. It introduces our value: the extra, the sleep, the people, the pride and the recreation. All of us are dedicated to being at your service always. We hope to see you again soon. Use your smartphone and enter our front desk mobile number 1.250.885.8119 and text us or video chat on your favourite video chat apps such as WeChat, WhatsApp, Line Duo, and Messenger. You'll receive an instant 10% returning guests loyalty reward when you book direct. Save us on your app for quick reference. Thank you again for writing and posting on TripAdvisor. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and have a terrific New Year.

Hotel's Favourite
We arrived in Victoria for a weekend getaway Aug 20-23 to celebrate our anniversary. Robin Hood staff (Sam K, and all of the front desk and room staff) were some of the friendliest and most helpful motel staff we have ever encountered in all our travels. The shuttle service from the airport, quick drop-offs downtown when needed and of course the complimentary e-bikes made our visit a real pleasure. We managed to tour Victoria through the great pathways and the e-bikes and locks made it so easy. Breakfast at the motel was good and room service due to Covid-19 requirements. We had arranged for champagne and a fruit /cheese tray and Sam went out of his way to provide this for us. The rooms are clean and freshly painted with super comfortable mattresses. The motel is renovating their rooms and while ours was not one of the newly renovated rooms, we found the rooms cool and comfortable. While the location of Robin Hood is outside of downtown, their are multiple places within walking distance and the Jam Cafe is a short bike ride away (15 min). The property is very well maintained and provided a nice respite, and the giant Sequoia tree in the front parking area makes an impressive statement about how Robin Hood motel prizes it’s location and conservation. Overall a clean, friendly and pleasant location that will not break your budget.

Robin Hood Inn and Suites surpassed all my expectations. I had read the positive reviews and was surprised to be even more happy with our stay. We have a plug in hybrid which we could charge up at the hotel, loved it. All packaging is low waste or compostable. Which takes a lot of the guilt out of the super affordable breakfast, they bring to your room! It's pet friendly! We did call ahead to ensure they had a pet friendly room, which you should do if you plan to stay here. We have a large well behaved dog, they had treats, a dog bed, dishes etc, waiting for our big guy, he loved it. Staff were super friendly and kind. The overall cost of both the hotel and the optional breakfast really kept our stay budget friendly. I quite like the area the hotel is in as well. They have free e-bikes to use, free shuttle, and some other fun free stuff.

Dear Moira, Thanks so much for choosing us as your preferred place to stay when visiting Canada's resort city, Victoria. The entire hospitality team is delighted to learn that you had a great stay! We do our best to provide chargers for our guests who drive electric vehicles, including 1 EV charger and 2 Tesla chargers. Our BEEKIND toiletry product is compostable, and the link on the package is soy ink. A part of the supplier's revenue would go to bees health research at the University of California. For the price of a latte, you could get different pastries, croissants, muffins, and more. Thank you so much for understanding our COVID-19 protocols from suspending our buffet breakfast and starting room service breakfast. We are ever grateful to learn that our guest would bring their best friend with them as we have limited pet-friendly rooms. While you enjoy the best sleep ever, your best friend deserves it, too. Therefore, our memory form - the ultra-soft doggy bed is provided in each fido room. We strive to be a perfect match for those who want more to enjoy and experience more of Victoria for less without giving up the personal luxury amenities that you desire. Our complimentary e-bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, one can ride across the Selkirk Trestle bridge on the Galloping Goose Trail; kayak or paddleboard the Gorge Waterway and get as close one can to explore nature and the beauty of the area. A short walk or bike ride from the Inn to Esquimalt Park, you will become absorbed in the serenity and beauty of the Japanese Gardens. Our courtesy shuttle will take you to the inner harbour and popular tourist attractions. Stay real. Stay with us.

Overall a good stay. We book our hotels on the budget friendly side as they are meant to be a place to just sleep and shower, because we tend to be gone from early morning until later at night. This hotel was clean, reasonably quiet, had great water pressure with lots of hot water and the bed was firm and the room a good, cool temperature. We booked the petite queen room (very small, barely enough room for the 2 of us and our luggage, had to walk single file around the bed - not an issue, just an observation). Huge flat screen TV with lots of channels and chromecast. No fan in the bathroom, so it got quite humid in the bathroom, and the bathroom window barely opened to allow a bit of fresh air to help clear up the humidity. A bit concerned when we first arrived, as our room door was not closed or locked, but the room was fine, and not disturbed. The door was a bit sticky to close, and only one lock on it, but it did work and we had no issues. This hotel still uses physical keys for their rooms, and it is more of motel than a hotel. We did not take advantage of all the amenities offered, as we already had a full agenda. Overall we slept well and the shower had great water pressure and temperature. Staff at check-in and check out were very friendly and the check-in / check out processes were simple and easy.

Thank you for rating us and for writing your comments about your stay. We are grateful that you chose us to stay with on your visit to Victoria. We are also happy that the Petite Queen met your budget needs. We only have one Petite Queen available, and it is the smallest room in our inventory. When making your booking, all the rooms have descriptions and show the floor plan and square feet. The Petite Queen is the only room that does not have a fan in the bathroom at this time. We are happy to share with you and other readers that we have completed 36% of our new bathroom design remodelling and estimate that all will be completed by Spring of 2022. All windows are being replaced in January. Lots going on over the next 18 months. I hope that you will allow us the opportunity to be of service to you soon. Thank you again for staying with us. If you would like to follow our progress, you can go on our site.

Don’t look at the worn outside of the building. The rooms are clean, the beds, bedding, and pillows are high quality and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had a noisy room the first night and despite them being fully booked the next day, they moved us to a quieter room. At $6.00, the continental breakfast is a terrific value. We took advantage of free rentals of e-bikes with the Galloping Goose trail only a km away. Free rentals of kayaks also available during spring through fall. Coin laundry. No pool and recreational room closed due to CoVid. Appropriate CoVid precautions are being taken.
