Thanks Sam and his team for the warm and excellent hospitality. We stayed 2 nights, the room is clean, with good breakfast, shuttle pickup, helpful front desk and friendly staff. We enjoy the e-biking to town and the Galloping goose trail and other trails.

Hotel's Favourite
We arrived in Victoria for a weekend getaway Aug 20-23 to celebrate our anniversary. Robin Hood staff (Sam K, and all of the front desk and room staff) were some of the friendliest and most helpful motel staff we have ever encountered in all our travels. The shuttle service from the airport, quick drop-offs downtown when needed and of course the complimentary e-bikes made our visit a real pleasure. We managed to tour Victoria through the great pathways and the e-bikes and locks made it so easy. Breakfast at the motel was good and room service due to Covid-19 requirements. We had arranged for champagne and a fruit /cheese tray and Sam went out of his way to provide this for us. The rooms are clean and freshly painted with super comfortable mattresses. The motel is renovating their rooms and while ours was not one of the newly renovated rooms, we found the rooms cool and comfortable. While the location of Robin Hood is outside of downtown, their are multiple places within walking distance and the Jam Cafe is a short bike ride away (15 min). The property is very well maintained and provided a nice respite, and the giant Sequoia tree in the front parking area makes an impressive statement about how Robin Hood motel prizes it’s location and conservation. Overall a clean, friendly and pleasant location that will not break your budget.

I'm a middle school teacher in USA. I recently brought a group of 14 sixth and seventh graders on a class trip to Victoria, BC. We stayed at the Robin Hood Inn and Suites and I'm so glad we did! Here are a few of the reasons I would recommend this hotel: 1) The beds and bedding were VERY comfortable. 2) This is one of the few establishments where everything is EXCEPTIONALLY clean. 3) The staff, including the owner, was highly attentive and accommodating. (Ex: we took cabs to one of our destinations; the front dest staff called the cabs for us and then, when one of our student left his wallet in the cab, they reached out to the cab company several times to retrieve the wallet). They even gave small souvenirs to all the members of our group on the last morning of our stay. 4) The sign outside the hotel says it's the best value in Canada and that seems about right... we chose the hotel because the rooms were less than chain hotels down the road. But then Robin Hood gave us so many extras. They met us at the Clipper and took our bags back to the hotel. They offered us umbrellas for the group when it was raining. They have complementary e-bike and kayak rentals. The continental breakfast met the wide needs of our large group. The list goes on. 5) The hotel "Great Room" is awesome. Between the pool table and the foosball table and the board games and puzzles, our students made a lot of memories. There's even a good sized "library" in the great room that some of our prolific readers enjoyed checking out. Way more amenities in this room than you'd expect in an Airbnb or VRBO. 6) The hotel is right next to the galloping goose trail, the 11 bus line (just a few stops to downtown and we never waited more than a couple minutes for the bus), and the water taxis (aka "pickle boats"). If you want a comfortable stay for a fair price with lots of extras, this is your spot!

Great location, especially if you’d like to cycle to downtown. - just a minute from the Galloping Goose trail - 15 min into downtown. The hotel rooms are clean and big. Hotel has guest laundry facilities - $2 wash, $2 dry for 40 minutes. Continental breakfast plentiful.

Stayed 4 nights. Super clean rooms. We used the free E Bikes and free kayaks and saw so much of the area. This was such a cool feature when a motel gives you free bikes and kayaks to use. The location is not far from downtown at all but far enough away that it’s a fairly quiet neighbourhood. Very close to cool paths like The Galloping Goose Trail. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Robin Hood you charmed the pants off of us. We will be back!

Fantastic rooms that were pristine, beautifully presented, and the beds were SO comfortable. The breakfast buffet was better than expected. Very easy and quick to get into town. Will stay here again in the future the next time we visit Vancouver Island!

We had a great time in Victoria. We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. We enjoyed our room.Eventhough the building is old construction, the room was comfortable, upgraded, and we enjoyed the rain shower head as well as the bed. Very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. I liked they had a coffee machine with many types of hot drinks. I really enjoyed my cappuccino. Above all the staff was very friendly. Mr Sam was very accomodating when we used the shuttle service. He even drove us to a bank downtown. We were very happy with this hotel overall. We really recommended it.

We rented the kitchen suite, separate bedroom and living room. This place is older but very well maintained and remodeled. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The free e-bikes was a bonus and we enjoyed riding into town. Breakfast was basic continental. We used the free shuttle service from and to the airport and also to get into downtown. If you dont have a car, this place would totally work .

My daughter and I visited Victoria while searching for student accommodation for her. I did not expect much from a motel in this part of the city but was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and comfortable. Although the bathroom is very dated (pink tub) it was all in good working order and the shampoo and other extras were good quality. We made use of the continental breakfast every morning which was a big help to getting started each day. We didn’t have time to use the bikes or SUP but maybe on our next visit! I would stay here again!

We stayed at this Inn for 4 nights. We used this hotel as it was pet friendly. The bed was so comfortable, the hotel was very clean, looks newly renovated. The shower was the best! The staff was very friendly and the hotel had a very good vibe, everyone was happy and cheerful. The only complaint was the A/C unit which did not work well and was extremely loud.

Hello Karen, Thanks for taking the time to write and post your stay experience. The entire hospitality team is delighted to hear from you. Not only do you deserve the best sleep ever, your best friend as well :) The ultra soft memory foam doggy bed is provided for each registered dog for our pet-friendly room. We are the first in North America to apply a new innovative Print-on-Glass technology of beautiful high-resolution photography of Vancouver Island scenery onto tempered glass as our shower surround rather than tile. It gives guests an excellent introduction to the Island in all its splendour and is another example of how serious we desire to make a guest stay experience the best and most affordable ever. Our guest services are well known in review sites since we do our best to treat our guest the way we would like to be treated. Thanks so much for the AC comment. We appreciate it and we will look for a different solution for the heat. Thanks again for choosing us as your preferred place to stay in Victoria, Canada's resort city. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Sincerely, The Robin Hood Inn & Suites
