I haven't been as happy with a hotel in years. The shuttle was convenient and helpful. The staff bent over backward to help and the hotel itself was cozy but had all the amenities of a big one. I can not recommend this place enough. As a Seattle resident coffee counts and their in room cofee is as good as...

You are minutes from the ferry harbor, Parliament building (spectacularly lit at night), and the BC Museum so this is a prime location to stay downtown. Parking is $15 a night but that said, you can leave your car in the lot and walk to the most popular tourist sites. When a tour bus arrives a Scottish bagpiper greets the...

Upon arriving at the hotel we thought we had turned up at an old people's home (no offence intended to senior citizens). The layout and furniture looked like and old folks home and it smelled like it as well. When we entered our room, the decor was worse and so was the smell. The room was stuck in a time...

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay. I am sorry that you were disappointed with your experience. While seniors do make up a large part of our clientele, many families with children also enjoy our many amenities such as the pool and games rooms. You may have also come across the billiards room...

We stay here during our recent trip to Victoria. Excellent service, within to walking distance to downtown. The room was large and very well suited with everything needed, including dishes, real coffee cups, silverware etc. Staff was very accommodating. We would stay here again.

This was a charming place and the location was ideal while visiting Victoria. The staff was amazing - so friendly & super accommodating, always with smiles & a "can do" attitude. I would definitely give this hotel a strong recommendation.

Situated down across from the waterfront and a nice short prety walk to all the shopping etc. the Royal Scott is a decent hotel with good value. My room was quite large and was nicely laid out. It was clean and quiet.

We stayed for three nights at the end of June and booked a double room, which was on the third floor at the front corner of the hotel, overlooking the main street, but still quiet. Well decorated and very spacious, it only lacked AC, but fans were supplied. The hotel is in the adjacent block to the BC Legislative Building,...

Two friends and I stayed in the Royal Scot for two nights in July, 2013. I only hope I age with as much dignity as this hotel has. We had a suite with décor still in the 70's and 80's - lovely and exceptionally clean. The suite was stocked with everything we would have needed had we hung around to...

We spent two nights at the Royal Scot. The hotel location is great and the room are really big (although the bathroom is fairly small). The small kitchen is very useful. But room are "tired" and would need some refurbishing. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly. Someone seems to hold the role of the concierge but is not really...

My family and I return every summer to Victoria for vacation and this year we decided to try the Royal Scot Hotel & Suites. What a wonderful choice:) My husband and I and our adult daughter and 3 yr old granddaughter were on this trip and this hotel has two bedroom suites available. Our suite had two bedrooms each with...
