The first problem was the place changed its name from Travellers Inn to Island Inn but still have some of the old signs up, but this was nothing compared with the bed bugs the next morning we both woke up with bites all over us and as we had been travelling for two days we didn't wake up during the...

I will start by noting that the management eventually resolved this issue and gave me a full refund for the night we had major issues. I originally complained to management and didn't get a response until after I filed a formal complaint with the BBB. We had originally booked for the Sunday night, to stay somewhere after a wedding. So...

Very worn and is in need of paint to start with. Immediately took the bedspread off which looked dirty. Boxspring was very yelow. Underground parkade was sketchy. Chose it because we had to catch the ferry at 4 am and it was very close to the waterfront. Would not stay here again.

Horrible place, charged me 320.00 for 2 nights, the bathroom and carpet was gross, no coffee for coffee machine and sitting in the desk chair a mouse ran by my feet, I will never stay there again, the only good thing was secure parking.

Don't do it. I promise I'm not making this up. Rooms are disgusting and WiFi doesn't work. Location is ok but go across the street to Paul's for a nicer place to stay. Never again. Btw someone had peed all over one of the beds in our room before we changed.

Old, worn, dumpy. Bathroom was mouldy and peeling. Wifi practically non existent. Only one of two lamps worked. No cups for free coffee and not enough towels in a double room for three people. Room was not made up on second day. Ok, I know it is cheap for a close to town hotel, but it is in dire need...

You won't really find a better priced place in Victoria especially of you are with a few people. The location is prime and you can walk to just about anything. The accommodation is decent. Definitely not a fancy place, but the staff is friendly and know a fair bit about Victoria. 3 of us stayed here, and it was the...

I have never seen a hotel like this one, not in Victoria or anywhere in Canada. Keep in mind that I've been around the world. The quality of the cleanliness, the deals you can make with the guys in the reception and the experience itself are unforgettable. You will feel like you are in your first home, so don't miss...
