Recent stay with my wife for 2 nights Received a walk around when we arrived explaining breakfast. We had to inform your staff it was canceled. Been nice if it wasn't. Light bulb out in kitchen Dishwasher full of last guests dirty dishes . We washed it and left them inside. Internet went down second night I assume because of the tree so not your fault. The stand up rain shower hot water does not work at all. The side faucet was warm at best. Also please take the time to scrub the corners in the shower floors. To ruin our stay, their was not enough hot water to enjoy a bath in the evening with my wife. Filled slightly with warm water but definitely a huge disappointment. Could have been much better ! Fantastic staff and a clean shared kitchen and dining room area! The house is old and very well maintained so it feels as though you are staying in someone's home! Nice and quiet spot to enjoy a weekend.

This place is listed as B&B even on the street sign and around the place. But there is NO breakfast. They claimed Covid for it. But in all other B&B we stayed there was a way to serve it. Different times or breakfast in the rooms… There are ways if you want to! We asked for a breakfast box, but there was no way and no refund. The room was very small. Not place on the floor even for the suitcase. We had to put it on the only chair. Staff was polite but not friendly. The hotel is to far to walk to downtown, especially after a day of visiting. This hotel lives from former glory. Never again!

Room good with a small kitchenette. Air temperature in room a little warm so an open window required for sleeping. Disappointed about no Covid "work around" to have a breakfast at a B&B. Though not used, there is a guest kitchen and laundry facilities in the basement.

Peaceful, cozy, and comfortable! Nice linens, attractively furnished. The Mini-suite has a kitchenette: sink, toaster oven, microwave, fridge. Really great walking distance to Oak Bay Avenue, Government House, Craigdarroch Castle and downtown Victoria.
