Was a quick trip to Victoria for us. Hotel close to everything, well priced, and clean. One negative was that we could not control the heat so the room was very warm overnight. Parking was not very convenient, being several blocks away. We arrived late, 10 PM, so did not tryout the 2 restaurants. Although the front desk person was...

A+ for location. It is an old hotel but with great taste! Lots of nearby places to eat and great entertainment region of the city. Although it took a while to get the attention of the front desk clerk (ring a bell) she was very polite and helpful. I will definitely visit again.

The experience was a bit off-putting from the start: only one parking space outside the lobby, and it was occupied by a pair of taxis, so we had to park down the street. The lobby seems like an afterthought between two bars. Once we got up to the room, my wife was charmed by the old world appearance. The beds...

I visited an out of town person I know at Bedford Regency Hotel. I found the staff to be reasonably nice and professional in customer service. It is also one of the smaller and cozier hotels compared to the large corporate chain hotels. The large and more spread out the corporate hotels means you are just another number in their...

The Bedford Regency is small, friendly hotel in the very heart of Victoria's downtown core. Everything is at your doorsteps. Unfortunately this also applies to the local pubs, two of which are connected to the hotel (and two more are within 15-20 m in either direction). So stay here only if you are either an incredibly good sleeper or don't...

Great staff. Great price. Great location. Great rooms. Bed was very, very hard. Parking was expensive, parcade cost $15 across the street. Murchies and Munroes bookstore is right there. Really great location. Rooms was funky and very clean. TV was too small and bed hard. Loved how windows opened.

I registered for the Victoria marathon and chose the Bedford so I would be close to everything and not even need a car rental. I expected the Bedford to be small and old. The Bedford is old, but charming, clean, spacious and very affordable, and suited my needs very well. I will definitely be back next fall..

We loved our stay in Victoria. The Bedford Regency was the perfect place to be based in to experience the wonderful, lively downtown and waterfront of Victoria. The room sizeable, cute, and very comfortable. We'll be back! Soon I hope.

Lovely, helpful staff and a perfect location for a few days in Victoria. It's situated close to most things one wants to see. Rooms are clean. Handy to have a fridge in the room. Good value for money.

“My room didn't have a view but was quiet and the window did open and let in plenty of light. If you want quiet, ask for it since the street is quite busy and there is a bar next door.”

“The room, 21, was overlooking Government Street. There are some lively venues nearby, which may bother some people, but my sister and I found it to be charming. I would stay in this room again, and I am looking forward to coming in the summer so I can see the flowers in the window boxes in bloom.”
