We really enjoyed our Victoria visit - the location, the vintage ambience of our room & lovely window box flowers, friendly staff absolutely enhanced our weekend! Travelled with a friend - both of us were most impressed - added bonus: we ended up with a view of the harbour. Thank you - will be back!

This is a perfect in town hotel. Comfortable bed, nice linens and towels. Walking distance to huge choice of restaurants. Courtyard rooms look at a wall about 30' away, but I did not feel anyone was looking at me or I looked in another room. My husband loved the fire laid in the working fireplace. He lit it the first...

I went for a one-nighter trip to Victoria with my girlfriend and we looked at hotels around James Bay which may have been more 'charming', but decided on this one as it is more central in downtown - in fact, if you had to pick a totally central spot in Vic, this might be it! Everything was clean, although some...

The Bedford Regency has a prime location on Government street, nestled between a couple restaurants and right next to Murchie's. The staff was very friendly and stored our luggage since we were early. Our room was quite large. It had a living room with a fireplace and then a short hall to the bathroom and bedroom. The room was slightly...

I booked two rooms and when we checked in they had put the reservation in my friends name but using my credit card info. They then upgraded my friend. My room was the size of my home walk in closet. I could have handled that but the shower was so moldy that it was disgusting and my towel had a...

Although great value for the location and cleanliness, room #11 was very noisy. It sits above the entrance which is adjacent to a popular pub. In-window air conditioner is very noisy. Add some municipal work on road below at 4 a.m., one cannot say this room is conducive for sleep. Linens and bathroom are white and clean. Room needs updating...

Stayed in a superior room for 3 nights on 4th floor. Some noise late night/early morning from pubs..not too bad. Room was nice and roomy with fireplace and partial view of the bay. In room 49 sliding bathroom door didn't slide shut, leaving about 2ft of opening. Small problem for my girlfriend.

Mom and I had a nice room with 2 queen beds on opposite walls, which felt spacious and private. For tv viewing we had to pick one bed to camp out on. Small, simple lobby on downtown maindrag. Just a couple of doors down from Murchies, practically breakfast in bed!!

The room was clean but needs some updating. The bathroom fixtures are painted white with the paint peeling off. There was no heavy shade behind the curtain which is needed because the hotel is located on a tourist type street with lots of bright lights and the room never really gets dark. The curtain itself was kind of shabby

Beautiful room, fantastic location! Wish we had more than one night here! The beds were really comfy, room was sunny and clean with a great view over the main street. Thought the noise from the main street would be an issue on a Saturday night, but once we shut the windows and curtains we hardly heard anything.

“The room, 21, was overlooking Government Street. There are some lively venues nearby, which may bother some people, but my sister and I found it to be charming. I would stay in this room again, and I am looking forward to coming in the summer so I can see the flowers in the window boxes in bloom.”
