We stayed in the Floral Suite which was ideal for our young family. Good to be a little removed from other guests with a 3 and 1 year old! Many B&B's wouldn't accept a booking with children under 12. Our host, David was very helpful with all our requests. From the welcome at the door to the delicious breakfasts, I...

The Humboldt House is exactly what you expect from a bed and breakfast. Charming. Well taken care of. Good value for your money. Comfortable. My husband and I were visiting Victoria Island for a weekend last Summer* and our friends recommended we stay at the Humboldt House. It was perfect. First of all, it is just a few blocks (5...

My husband and I found this place online and immediately chose it for our short honeymoon last October. It was beautifully outfitted, quiet, intimate and clean. (We stayed in Edward's room and it was perfect!) The food was excellent and the service impeccable! We met a nice couple from Israel visiting family in Victoria and had a nice quiet evening...

We love staying at B&Bs and feel the Humboldt House is right on the top. There isn't one thing the owners have not thought of. Add the genuine warmth of Mila our charming greeter (who generously offered us our choice of upgraded room at no charge!) to the delectable home baked goodies waiting for us in the Library (with sherry),...

We stayed at Humboldt Bed and Breakfast twice in September. We were on our way to Ucluelet for the week. We made this a first night and last night stay. What a find. The first night we stayed in the Oriental Room. It was lovely. Second night we stayed in the Edwards Room . It also was beautiful. We took...

The breakfast where very good, sometimes cold but that was our fault, see you get it delievered to your room so we'd often eat it 30 min to an hour later, we knew we had the food but didn't wanna get up. *LOL* Honeymoon. The room had a large jacuzzi big even for 2 people both 6 foot and over...

Excellent location - close to the inner harbour but set back on a quiet street. Discreet, unobtrusive service appreciated, as was the private in-room breakfast. The large jacuzzi bath absolutely made the room. HOWEVER, when you are advertising your B&B as a romantic luxury getaway, you should honor that description - having large groups of children staying goes against that....

This B&B is quaint, quiet and has everything you would want. Friendly owners, awesome decor with tub and fireplace, a fabulous breakfast in bed, and it's close to the harbor but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. We had a lovely stay.

While we only stayed at Humboldt House for one night, we enjoyed the property and service immensely. Ideally situated, that is close but not too close to downtown Victoria, HH is charming and quaint with breakfast uniquely delivered to your room. We stayed in the Gazebo room which is on the top floor at the back, an ideal place. Highly...

A lot of bed and breakfasts call themselves romantic getaways, but Humboldt House lives up to the name. The rooms have fun (but not over the top) themes, the beds are luxurious, and the in-room jacuzzi tubs are lovely. If you're like many people, you appreciate B&Bs for their uniqueness... but you're less appreciative of the awkward morning after where...
