This B&B differs from my previous B&B experiences where you eat breakfast in the kitchen and hosts and/or hostesses are present and getting to know you. Instead, you sign up for breakfast on a time sheet and it's delivered in a basket to a box in your room wrapped in plastic. In that respect it was much like a hotel,...

Beautiful home with excellent breakfast served in a unique style. The dumb waiter serves you with a basket of delightful and delicious items at the hour of your choosing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculate with jacuzzi tubs. Ours was a little small (others are larger). It is next to a huge park and walking distance to the busy...

Where to begin..... We stayed at the Marriott for two nights down the street for the same price as one night at the Humboldt House. Because I normally do stay in B&Bs, I decided to make our last night at Humboldt as a treat because it was so well recommended. I had initially reserved the Mikado Room, but had emailed...

Thank you for taking the time to write down your feedback. It was a complete surprise to read that you had any negative experiences during your stay with us on May 31 (Memorial Day), as you did not mention anything to us while you were here. We are available 24 hours per day if you needed anything at all (ice,...

My husband and I spent three nights in Victoria at Humboldt Inn and were very pleased with the entire experience. We stayed in Edward's room, but peeked in all of them, and every one was charmingly decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast, chosen by you the night before and delivered in a basket via a dumbwaiter, was truly...

We stayed here for our wedding night. BEAUTIFUL room, great jacuzzi tub and comfy bed. The breakfast the next morning was amazing, with fresh fruit, fresh baked crossaints, homemade jam and eggs benedict. Great overall experience.

** Stayed in the Celebration room, so here were the highlights: Breakfast: amazing. Choice of Atlantic crepe, fruit crepe, eggs Benedict, or continental. Served with coffee and/or tea, orange juice, croissant and scone. Delivered through private, side cabinet at a time you designate. Bed: very comfortable. Down comforter, pillows were a tad soft for my taste but there were more...

We were given a last minute web special. The room is next to St Anne's Accademy and and such is in easy walking distance to downtown Victoria. We were able to select what we wanted for breakfast upon check in the day before. The breakfast was very tasty and generous with juice and coffee included. It is delivered to room...

The owners of this bed & breakfast were very nice people! The customer service was great. The reason we picked this bed & breakfast was that you didn't have to go to a dining room to have breakfast at a set time. You indicated what time you wanted breakfast, and they bring it to your room via a dumpwaiter in...

Our second stay here. I came across this place on the web last year when my GF and I first met and took her there for our first night away together...it was perfect. We came back and spent Valentines weekend there this year. Very unique place, and close to Beacon Hill Park, the ocean, Downtown, Parliament, etc. We stayed in...
