We had a lovely time at Humbolt House. It's vicinity to the downtown core made it the best base-of-operations for a romantic vacation. The room was beautiful, although it did get a little steamy with the hot tub going. The complementary truffles and wine were a fantastic touch! Next time we're looking for a romantic getaway, we'll be making ourselves...

The best B&B in which ever I've stayed. Spent 7 nights there for our anniversary. It is located in easy walking distance of Downtown Victoria, and gorgeous Beacon Hill Park. The rooms are clean, charmingly decorated, quite comfortable and include a wood-burning fireplace. The lobby contains a tray of homemade treats along with phone, local information, maps and quite an...

A suberb place to stay A romantic, Victorian place to stay at only a 5 min. walk from downtown. David, the owner, is a extremely kind and helpful and serves a perfect breafast. We were welcomed with champaign and delicious chocolate truffels. We highly recommodate this B. & B. hotel. Jan Hoogeveen and Hanny Timmers, Zutphen, The Netherlands more

It was absolutely a treasure....the rooms are wonderfully appointed, the innkeeper very hospitable, the breakfast was beyond incredible (delivered in a basket to your room), massage treatment to die for and the location was superb. Sleeping with...

Having stayed at quite a few bed and breakfast inns across the country, I can truly say that Humboldt House is the best. The inn keepers were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Our room was beautiful, romantic, and luxurious. We enjoyed the hot tub, the wine and truffles, the candlelight, and the wood fire which was...

My husband and I took a trip last year to Victoria from our home in California to celebrate the wedding of some dear friends. We expected romance and love to be the theme of the weekend but didn't expect it to be such an amazing and romantic getaway for us. From our first view of the Humboldt House, we had...

We were referred to the Humboldt House by the owners of a restaurant in Shelton, Washington. We got online that night, called and made a reservation for the next day....we lucked out. The Humboldt House was easy to find from the ferry landing, easy walking around Victoria. I loved the fact that they thought of everything, like eye make up...
