Staff were helpful, room and common areas very clean, coffee in lobby was way too strong (and I like strong coffee), convenient free parking and WiFi was nice. Although the hotel is older, it has been kept in very good shape. Would definitely stay again!

This place was awful, dirty and uncomfortable. Don’t waste your money. Spend a few more bucks and go somewhere else. There was food or something on the duvet, lipstick smears on the bathroom floor and counter, the bed was uncomfortable and you could hear everything through the walls.

Great location . We paid for a water view , was disappointed with a huge tree blocking said view. Room was very small. New laminate flooring. Not very sound proof. Found it pricey for what you get, but it is what it is. Bed was very uncomfortable, very hard

In the future, please reach out to the front desk and we will happily try to locate you to a room with a better view. We are in the process of making improvements to the hotel. Unfortunately, Covid 19 has put the brakes on many of our projects as you can appreciate the financial strain the hospitality industry is currently under. But rest assured that the guest experience is of the utmost importance to us and we will continually focus on making improvements as resources permit. With new flooring and furniture in all of our guest rooms, we are now reviewing the condition of all our mattresses and will be gradually replacing them in the coming months. Thanks for sharing your feedback and we hope to welcome you back again to Victoria's Inner Harbour in the future.

I read reviews before travelling. I also did not make the reservation for this hotel. I thought, ok, give benefit of doubt. Arrived, check in was cold, Mike seemed like did not want to be there. Phoned down to front desk when lamps between beds would not turn on. Mike said, just keep pushing the button until they come on. I pushed button approx 8 times, only one light came on. On way out, spoke to Mike, he reluctantly said, let me know when you return and I will come look at it. Upon our return he came up to the room, no mask (even though signs are posted thanking guests for wearing masks). He pushed the button a few times, finally both lights came on. The switch/button is very loose for the lights and the wiring is very dangerously exposed, given this, Mike still in few words insisted I figure it out on my own, the first time I called down to the desk. Floor under the beds was very very dirty. I had to move beds to access the wiring to ensure was plugged in, as instructed by Mike. Bathroom, had to step up into it, very very small, closet for room is bigger (lol). Paid for room with harbour front view, little did we know it also came with the noise factor from patrons at the bar attached to the hotel. The elevator was extremely tiny, cannot safely distance, two people in the elevator, it is that small. Floor tile is dirty and in need of a facelift. Throughout night could hear water running in pipes. People above us were noisy. I would not recommend this hotel and will not return. I contacted DaysInn via twitter and sent two pictures of the dangerous wiring to Victoria City Hall Permitting department.

We are currently embarking on a preventative maintenance program to ensure that all rooms are in good working order prior to the arrival of every guest. Our room was a corner room , clean , great bed and a wonderful view of the harbour. Front desk Mark was excellent. Walking distance to Capital buildings and Empress Hotel. Great location patio restaurant and bar everything was great.
