The Rosewood Inn is actually two buildings joined by a common conservatory in which breakfest and afternoon tea is served. The yellow building is the older structure of the two buildings, in which the office/check-in is located along with a cozy sitting-room complete with fireplace (comfy place to relax with a glass of wine and a good book or engage...

The good news is that a lot of the rooms have been renovated with new furnishings etc. which were very much needed IMHO.The bad news is not all the rooms have been done yet but the good news is that all the rooms will be refurbished by mid March according to staff at the property. As mentioned by others it...

As my First time experience with VI & its resorts, I would expect more with all the Hype they create! Although the B&B was in a great location, everything about it was Average (as Expected). Reiterate a past review comment - "the afternoon tea (which you pay for whether you partake or not) is generally not worth returning" - LIPTON...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I was pleased that you found the Rosewood charming and the location was great. I am disappointed that our service fell short. I hope you will give us another opportunity to deliver the professional and welcoming service many of our guests have experienced.

We are new to VI so I can not compare the Rosewood to other VI resorts. The rooms are very charming and roomy, however keep in mind they only provide soap and no other bathroom products like shampoo, which somewhat inconvenient since I do not normally travel with shampoo, and given travel restrictions on airplanes, I find the less products...

We recently stayed for 4 nites (july 13 p17. 2014). We are VI owners so signed up last year for the One bdrm #17 unit. We expected it to be furnished like the others, but had some disappointments with the kitchen, ie, no glasses except stemmed water and wine glasses, no cutting board, no paper towels, no serving bowls to...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. I was pleased to see that you felt our location was ideal and that the unit was beautiful, but naturally disappointed that you felt our service was not up to VI standard. This is an area we our passionate about and work at daily to offer that “Welcome...

What a charming and inviting inn. The area is very pretty and quaint, a world of of a slower pace, away from big city traffic and people. Breakfast is included though you have to sign up for a time slot. Earlier time slot is always filled first. if it doesn't fit in your schedule, I would just skip it and...

Thank you for your kind words. Rosewood Inn is a bed and breakfast that has been working hard at updating the rooms and interior sitting area this past year. You are correct in assuming each room is different although they all have the floral theme. Please come back and stay with us again soon.

We love this charming hotel. It reminds me of a b and b in the English countryside. Breakfasts were always different and tasty, and afternoon Tea was a real treat. The only down side is the parking issues here, he did get a parking ticket for staying too long on the street. :(. Other, than that, it was a perfect...

We stayed for a three night getaway in March. Our early arrival on a Wednesday was no problem and we were registered and in our room in about 10 minutes. We had an upstairs room in the newer (green) building and it was lovely. And huge. It was called a "hotel room" and was just one room but it had...

This was our third time at the Rosewood and the first time under its new ownership. Our room was in the newer section and while on the third floor, was very large, bright, comfortable and had a very good seating area with a couch and chair and a TV. The breakfast, as always, was very good with three courses. Sign...

The Rosewood is a great place if you are in Victoria for a few days without a car (e.g. taking the Clipper from Seattle). Just a block behind the Parliament building, so its an easy walk to downtown, BC Museum (which is worth a couple of days in itself if you've never been!), Beacon Hill Park and the beach walk,...
