My boyfriend and I were attending a dinner/celebration at the CFB Esquimalt and were looking for a place nearby to stay. We stayed in the "Kingfisher" room and absolutely loved it! At this time Sue and Zen were still the owners and were great hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful and gave us a tour of the B&B when...

On a recent trip to Victoria, we found this great B&B. it's just 5 minutes from downtown by car or else there's a gorgeous harbour walk that takes about 45 mins. We stayed in the Orca room which was very spacious and quiet and the breakfasts were tasty. One day we wanted to sleep in so they even kept our...

This place has been taken over by a new owner so the pictures aren't at all accurate of how the dining room is decorated nor the breakfasts we were served. I read a couple of recent reviews and have to agree that the carpets need cleaning! Although a nice person, the new owner is on his own and I think...

I think this was our 4th stay at Across the Habour. Don's warm welcome when we arrived made us feel right at home. We love it and were pleased to see the chairs in the back corner of the garden allowing us to view the harbour up close without having to leave the yard. Breakfast, of course, is different with...

New owner has not maintained the level of quality expected from reading previous reviews. For example: very strong odour of air freshener; dirty, stinky carpets leading to the bedroom and dining room, unkempt garden with dead plants from last year in the flower pots and empty flower beds, the property is looking rundown (the new owner may have inherited this...

The house itself is nicely located, close to the harbour walkway that took us to downtown Victoria. The back yard could use a major clean-up as it would have been a great place to sit and read. Our room (Orca) was very clean and quiet with a comfy bed, but little touches (such as Kleenex) that we find in other...

Not only our spacious well kept room was on the top floor but so was breakfast in an amazing sun room with a view. The owner is meticulous in his attention to detail. He creates great ambience with his low key and very pleasant disposition. He was always available with tips or suggestions. We would highly recommend this B n...

This B n B was awesome. Great view of the harbor from the tea room, coffee/tea always available, the room was spotless and the host Don was awesome! Great experience - I would recommend this spot to anyone. I am not a breakfast person but my Mom and sister thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts every morning and our fellow guests agreed....

What makes this B&B so amazing are the managers, Sue and Zen. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, the location convenient for walking along the sea wall into town, and the breakfasts look as good as they taste. But it was Sue and Zen that made our stay so special. They think of everything, and the advice they gave...

Thank you so much! We are humbled by your kind words. We can't begin to thank all of our guests for the wonderful memories we have of our time as the managers of Across the Harbour B&B. We are leaving the B&B and are sad to be saying farewell but are so grateful to have been able to share a...

I have nothing but high praise for Sue and Zen's place. Our whole stay was perfect. We stayed in th Blue Heron room downstairs, and it was very comfortable. The breakfasts were incredible. But the best part was the hosts: so nice and welcoming. It made these few days one of the best memories of our trip in Western Canada....
