We booked a room for three nights at the Huntingdon Manor Hotel. We chose it for the location and the price, and it looked a little more interesting than the downtown business hotels. It turned out to be just what we'd hoped. The rooms are comfortable, not fancy, but clean. The location is unbeatable, right in the Inner Harbour of Victoria and close to shopping, restaurants, and lovely strolls around James Bay. Unfortunately we had to leave after the first night, for personal reasons. We were so happy that the hotel allowed us to cancel the second and third nights with no extra charge. I'm looking forward to going back and staying longer.

Booked through BC Ferries, excellent value, Great Location, Rooms are very quiet, we had a view of the harbor, The breakfast in the morning was hot, fresh and well stocked. All staff we were in contact with were very attentive, courteous and pleasant. We felt appreciated as guests. If only someone could have fixed the cold winds and snow.....We will be coming back!!

Picture perfect location with beautiful grounds that are delightfully decorated for Christmas. Every staff member that we met was genuinely warm, friendly and helpful. It was so nice to find such lovely accommodation at an affordable price in Victoria. Our room was quiet and extremely clean with very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was a wonderful way to start the day. We definitely will be back the next time we visit Victoria.

Great location for exploring the harbour area from this nice little hotel. Large room, comfortable bed and we had a kitchenette to use if we needed it. Buffet breakfast in the morning was a good way to start the day and during a visit with family the lounge area was perfect. Staff was courteous and room care was excellent.

So happy with the comfy loft room with harbour view. Beds/bedding were the best I’ve ever had in a hotel! Location is excellent as we could walk or take city transit wherever we wanted to go. The breakfast was hot and tasty and the wonderfully warm and friendly breakfast lady made it even better! We will definitely return!

I had initially booked into the Pendray Inn building but an error left it double booked. They upgraded me to a loft suite in the Huntingdon Manor Hotel (same property across the garden) and added free parking and the breakfasts at the Inn (fancier and a la carte). The suite was comfortable with a full kitchen (4 burner stove, apartment size fridge rather than a bar fridge). The location is perfect for exploring the downtown harbour, the parliament, and all the lovely walks along the water.

We were really happy with our night at the Huntingdon Manor Hotel. Our arrival was delayed terribly by weather in Eastern Canada, such that we only arrived at the hotel around 3:30a.m. The night clerk was very kind, prioritizing getting us up to our room ahead of wrestling with the computer system which had "released" our reservation since we had not checked in before midnight. The great black-out shades meant we got a solid 6 hours of sleep before waking to partake of the nice in-house breakfast. All in all, a great stay!

We stayed at this hotel as it was recommended by a friend! It was I a great location, conveniently close to everything as it is hard to find parking in Victoria! The staff was great. We arrived early and they were able to check us in early, which was nice, so we got to look around Victoria before it got too dark. We also had high tea on the property which is conveniently close by and it was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again

The hotel is fine, very basic, clean, and definitely like a budget hotel. The rooms were simple and could be from the 90's. Bathroom was small and the breakfast was fine, coffee was strong. The noise level was mediocre. I could hear everyone and their conversations in the hall. I would not choose this hotel again.

Response from Hotel Team, Other at Huntingdon Manor Hotel
Responded Nov. 1, 2022
Hello Nelson, We are sorry to hear your stay was not as exceptional as we strive for. We are in the process of completing some upgrades to our property and our rooms. With our sister property being a registered heritage property we have opted to keep a historic theme throughout the public areas of the hotel which can make us seem much older than we are. We appreciate you sharing your experience and we hope you will visit Victoria again. Kind Regards, The Team at Huntingdon Manor
