We offer B and B rooms or self-contained suites at ground level and a penthouse suite with ocean and mountain views. Great B&B centrally located in Victoria. Our hosts very so warm and kind and made delicious breakfast every morning. The B&B is situated in an antique British house and has a beautiful interior with a nice terrace. We felt very welcome and had a nice time at the B&B. Thank you Jeff and the Abbeymoore Manor staff!

This beautiful old mansion is set just down the road from Government House in Victoria BC. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at Abbeymore in a spacious bedroom with bathroom. It is a charmingly old fashioned home with a friendly helpful host Jeff who went out of his way to ensure everything ran smoothly during our visit. The breakfasts served each morning were beyond the usual eggs and pastry. Each morning we enjoyed a two or even three course freshly cooked breakfast with gluten free options for my husband.

How wonderful to resume travels following the Pandemic with a return to our favourite Victoria destination, Abbeymoore! This historic house is as lovely as ever and its location in Rockland brings with it the peacefulness of a residential neighbourhood while at the same time the close proximity to excellent restaurants, pubs, shops and sea walks. Thank you to Erin for being so obliging during the reservation process and for treating us so warmly during our one week stay. And, of course, kudos to the hosts for providing us each day with such fabulous breakfasts ! Savouring those amazing meals in Abbeymoore's charming breakfast room while chatting to other guests, can only be described as the perfect start to each vacation day!! We look forward to returning next spring with the hope that the grass will be as green and the cherry blossoms as glorious.!! …

We checked out this morning after a four-night stay. We first stayed here 15 years ago. This B and B was and remains great. It is in an old manor home nicely refurbished as a B and B. It is in the Rockland neighborhood east of downtown by about 10 minutes by car. It is less than 5 minutes from the coastline on the south side of Victoria. It is very quiet and peaceful. You will notice many locals walking and walking their dogs in this hood. The rooms are clean and well furnished. We had the "Rose" room with a king bed, private bathroom a nice couch and comfortable chair. There is no lift but the stairs are very manageable for my wife and I, two seniors. We were greeted by the hostess who helped carry bags to our room. Over our stay she delivered ice to the room, offered tips on restaurants in and outside of Victoria and tips on what to do and see and what to avoid. Breakfast is simply great. It begins with fresh squeezed orange juice. Next course is mixed fresh fruit, granola and yogurt or milk. Yummm. The main course changes each day. Yesterday is was eggs benedict with tender fresh asparagus and potatoes. The day before was an Asian inspired bed of rice, a fried egg, fried meat, vegetables, mushrooms, with a hoisin sauce drizzle. It was fantastic. Baked sweets are offered in the afternoon and a bottle of port is always available in the guest social room. The staff will do anything they can for you. It is an easy drive from here to downtown, the coastline, many fine eateries and pubs and easy access to roads that will take you to Buchart gardens, museums, and day trips. Five stars from us, again.…

If you are looking for dog-friendly accommodations, the garden suites at Abbeymoore are a great option. We stayed in a King garden suite and there is a ground-level entrance, a small sitting space, and a bit of a patio - perfect for our mini schnauzer. It is also only a few minutes walk to the gardens at Government House, which is a really nice place to walk your dog. The suite was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast is also really good. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!

Just stayed at Jeff’s BnB in Victoria. Jeff and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay delightful. Kept our bags safe while we did a several day hike. Took such good care of me after I broke my wrist; placed a blanket over my shoulders when he thought I was cold. The entire place is charming. The location is wonderful. Easy walking distance to so many sights. Loved our chats with the staff as well. Will definitely be returning.

Our stay at Abbeymoore Manor completely exceeded our expectations. The house itself is in a gorgeous historical community with many points of interest, beautiful homes and places to explore. The bed and breakfast is lovely and the people who run it are top notch. They are so helpful, personable and interesting to talk to. They constantly were doing things to help us and we can’t say enough about the hospitality they provided. The breakfasts they served each day were so visually appealing and delicious. We had such a perfect stay and cannot recommend Abbeymoore Manor enough! Thank you Jeff, Erin, Henry, Alexander and Daniel for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I stayed three nights at Abbeymoore Manor last week. It was honestly the best experience we have ever had at a B&B or a vacation rental! The garden suite was charming and comfortable, the breakfasts were amazing (!!!) and Jeff is the best host anyone could ever hope to have at an inn! The location is in a wonderful neighborhood just down the street from the Government House and its beautiful grounds. It is also a stone’s throw from all the harbor and Victoria have to offer as well as easy access to routes that will take you North to other parts of Vancouver Island. We really can’t say enough good things! We generally like to book a variety of different accommodations when we return to a place on vacation, but we will make an exception for the Abbeymoore. Every trip to Victoria, we will stay here!…

We booked this Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights thinking it would be perfect. The room, the Master, was very lovely and the place itself beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff friendly. However, we did NOT have hot water and the room was cold. We did mention this to the staff and it seemed to be fixed, temporarily. I tried to shower at one point but the water just wouldn't get beyond luke warm. I asked our friend in another room if she had hot water and she said the same. This is not an inexpensive place to stay and I would have thought better of it.

My sister and I stayed at the Manor March 20-22 2022. Its proximity to the event we were attending was a draw , as were the good reviews (though our experience was profoundly different). We stayed in garden unit #1. The previous residents (whom we later found out from one of the Manor’s staff had been residing there for 6 months) were clearly smokers so the rooms smelled of stale smoke. The kitchen did not provide wine glasses , drawers had mot been vacuumed and we unfortunately discovered a pair of worn ladies undergarments on the coffee table shelf. Upon that discovery I immediately contacted the owners to advise them of our concerns and did not receive a response. We returned from our event at 10 pm that evening to discover there were no sheets provided for the pullout. I went to the front desk to get sheets and express our concerns about the condition of the room however there was no response to the bell . As a result my sister slept under a smokey bedspread, with no linens. The main bed had decent linens and was comfortable. I returned the undergarments as well as a wool cap we found rolled up in the bedspread to the front desk the following morning and picked up sheets for the pullout. We of course would have left at this point had there been any other vacancies in Victoria. Not only have I not received a response to my original email regarding the overall state of the unit ( have not received a response to an email I sent as a courtesy in advance of my review. All in all our worst stay of many in beautiful Victoria.…
