We had such a great time at Fairholme and are so sad to leave. The tranquility, the garden, the view and the food all wrapped together in one nice place, was superb! We stayed in the Rose Garden Suite and enjoyed every minute. Perfect for our family of 4. Thank you Sylvia, Ross and Susan for making our stay a...

These people are really nice. The rooms are well-appointed with all the amenities you'd expect. The windows open to let in air, and serious shades keep out the northern summertime late-evening sun. The garden's lovely. The location's right next to Government House, with 30+ beautiful acres to stroll around, and a few blocks from Craigdarroch Castle, for those who like...

Upon our arrival, Sylvia welcomed us warmly with an explanation of the hotel, recommendations for dinner, a map of the island, and a brief tour of our penthouse guest suite. The manor was a bit hard to find because of our confused GPS but we found it after looking around. Our suite was prepared and clean, there were some complimentary...

we felt wrapped up in the warmth, hospitality and consideration at this lovely, beautifully done luxury inn. Every effort was made to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable and pleasant from the beginning to the end. A change in rooms was made in the beginning of our stay to accommodate my spouse who had a bad knee, we appreciated this effort...

The Fairholme Manor is, in a word, outstanding. Sylvia and Ross have done an amazing job of creating a beautiful, luxurious inn in the European style. We stayed in room #2, a gorgeous suite with fresh flowers everywhere, an enormous bedroom with sitting area and wood-burning fireplace, and an absolutely lovely jacuzzi area and double-shower bathroom. Sylvia's breakfast was delicious...

We just got back from our annual trip to Victoria BC and Fairholme Manor and we just had to write a review. First off, the setting is gorgeous. This lovely, tastefully restored old mansion is next door to Government House and it's radiant gardens. You feel surrounded by beauty and comfort. Words cannot describe how lovely the guest rooms and...

My wife and I had a one night stay on our way from Manila to visit my wife's family. I searched reviews on TripAdvisor and Fairholme Manor seemed to fit our goal of finding a quiet charming place to get over some jet lag. Hotel. Beautifully updated 18th century building with an emphasis on charm and comfort. Nice grounds with...

What a wonderful B&B experience. Fairholme Manor is a beautiful home and the attention to detail was apparent in our room, the dining area, and the well cared for grounds. Our hosts, Syliva, Ross, and Susan, were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional: homemade granola, fresh fruit, baked raspberry french toast with lemon...

We loved Fairholme Manor. Our suite was spacious and airy, with a balcony table and a perfect view over gardens, the coast and the mountains. Breakfast, which we were able to enjoy outside on the sunny porch, included the best home made granola we have ever had. Fairholme Manor is in a picturesque neighbourhood, with a spectacular garden next door...

This was a beautiful place to stay with such gracious hosts, Ross and Sylvia Main. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing and you couldn't find nicer people than those running the manor. We loved staying here and will be sure to return.
