My boyfriend and I are locals but we stayed at the Villa for a night to just relax by ourselves. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with tea and treats. Everything about our stay made us feel great. Breakfast was a little small but it was delicious. It wasn't very nice out when we stayed there, but...

From waiting for our arrival on a late ferry to hosting amazing 4 course breakfasts with full bodied cups of coffee to nursing my husband to wellness, we highly recommend Villa Marco Polo for a weekend away. On Valentine's weekend they used all the heart shaped baking molds and baking dishes while they never repeated an item in each of...

We came to Victoria to scatter our mother's ashes, and my wondetful husband found this gem.Everyone was kind, considerate, extremely helpful and made a sad circumstance into a treasured vacation. Every recommendation was a winner, and the breakfasts were well worth the journey. Outstanding! WE WILL RETURN.

I was part of a boisterous and unconventional family gathering. Initially, I thought the inn would be too far from the action at the harbour, but the neighborhood was as enjoyable as the inn itself ( especially for an avid walker like me!) Our hosts graciously accommodated our many special requests and Eliza was particularly helpful in finding excellent restaurants...

The location of this B&B and the wonderful owners and staff make it a great place to stop in Victoria. True you need a cab to get into town roughly $10 but the breakfasts and ambience make up for that.

Another overdue review (actually the first one disappeared into the ether in Italy!) but here goes... We stayed at Villa Marco Polo Inn back in May 2013 and had a thoroughly delightful albeit too short, three night stay. Liam greeted us very graciously even though we were later than we expected due to our visit being chiefly dictated by a...

The house is gorgeous and unique; the people are welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable; and the breakfasts are very special. The entire experience is totally pleasurable, and overall it exceeds any experience available in a five-star hotel. So if you're vacationing, why would you stay anywhere else?

Villa Marco Polo is one of the most beautiful B&B's I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many over the years, all over the world. I stayed in Silk Road and the room was exquisite! Eliza and Liam are so warm and helpful and seem to want nothing more than to make your visit as memorable and...

Spent 5 days in Victoria for our honeymoon and we couldn't have been happier with the service at Marco Polo. From planning out the day, sightseeing ideas, places to eat and personalized service it made our honeymoon perfect. The innkeepers are friendly and always strive to make your stay one you will never forget, Liam even drove us to a...

A leisurely game of bocce, a glass of amarone, a stroll past the reflecting pool of an Italian Renaissance garden, a massage in a romantic penthouse spa. Tuscany or Umbria perhaps? In fact, the exotic Villa Marco Polo, one of Victoria's most sumptuous inns, is located in Victoria's elegant Rockland quarter. This classically designed Victoria Inn, built in 1923 as a gift to a young bride, remains a favourite romantic getaway and wedding venue. ... more   less
