We are so thankful for our two-night staycation at The Parkside, which was a gift from Help Fill A Dream. Our corner suite came with a full kitchen, including a full-sized dishwasher, stove, stainless-steel fridge and microwave. Our king suite had two baths and included hardwood floors and a beautiful soaker tub. If all this weren’t enough, we had two outdoor spaces from which to enjoy from our 6th floor view. One was a lovely covered patio overlooking Blanchard St. which we enjoyed for a time in the rain when we first arrived. And the other, a spacious private sun deck looking onto the lovely green-space at St. Ann’s. We would, and already have, recommended The Parkside to local friends and family looking for a change of scenery during Covid. Oh, and the private s’mores fire pit was such a hit with my daughter.

Stayed here twice now. Once in August 2020, and liked it so much, stayed again for a month in March 2021. Loved the full kitchen, and appreciated the in suite washing machine. Used the complimentary bikes and liked the roof top garden. Easy walk to downtown, the harbour, ocean and grocery stores.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are extremely friendly in all aspects - front desk, cleaning and pool staff. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, microwave and even a combination washer / dryer (no oven). The shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion were all Tyneham "Joy" essential oil infused items with lavender, mandarin, sage and chamomile - it is something I will definitely look at buying myself! The coffee and tea were great - there was an angelwater tea that was amazing from silk road. The rooms are spacious and we had a bit of a view of the parliament building. It was close to the harbour and has a great pool. The coy fish were a pleasure to walk by every time we left or entered the hotel. Hand sanitizer was supplied in various areas throughout the hotel. Parking is extra but we did get a small discount for staying so many days. There are free bike rentals but not for kids unfortunately, so we did have to rent somewhere else. Otherwise, we loved it here - this place has a great vibe - we will definitely come back!

The staff and room was amazing, but there alot of dust in the room from the curtains and there was still children's hand prints left on the window. The koi pond was very lovely aswell and made the stay better
