Definitely well located with government street near by. Clean and nice. Concierge was helpful and knowledgeable in the area so ask anything and he may be able to help. Staff are welcoming.. Only thing missing, IMO to give the 5 greens, is not having bottled water in the room (specially at current rates).

Danielle and her staff provide a top notch experience. The only handicap that the property currently has is that the M Club isn't quite like others I have experienced. This is something I was advised is being discussed with the ownership in re: maximizing the experience for guests. Otherwise, a fantastic location, walk to everything and great amenities (laundry, gym, pool, hot tub). FIVE STARS!!!!

The hotel is centrally located a few blocks from the waterfront. There are a ton of things to do within easy walking distance. The staff/concierge are very helpful. The room was comfortable and definitely up to Marriott standards. We would stay there again when in Victoria.

Great location, view, service, Club and staff! We really are enjoying our stay at this Marriot Hotel... We are close to all the main attractions of Victoria and especially in the neighbourhood of the harbour and downtoon. We love it!

Last time we were here we stayed in the Delta across the harbour - very good hotel but less convenient if you are walking around. The Marriott is 5-10 minutes from most restaurants, shopping, etc in downtown Victoria. Pricing is a bit high, but most hotels are overpriced right now. Our room was just OK - we had Club Lounge privileges, but the lounge was down off the lobby. The room wasn't really clean - dust balls in the corners, clumps of hair stuck to walls in the bathroom (sounds weird, I know). No luggage rack for the suitcase. Simple stuff... The patio lounge was nice, good service, but there is a new tower now under construction across the street, so anticipate noise and inconvenience for probably 2 years.

Good Day DiveProf, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay at the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour. We greatly value guest insights and use them to continually enhance our services and offerings. We apologize for any inconveniences you encountered and appreciate your candid comments. We are glad to hear that you found our location convenient for exploring downtown Victoria. Our proximity to restaurants, shopping, and other attractions is something we take pride in, as we aim to provide our guests with a convenient and enjoyable experience. While the staff were helpful and great to talk to resolve issue, we found a few too many that shouldn't be at a Marriott. We're silver members. Bathroom door was quite chipped on the bottom, Hot tub had a sweat ring around it from other tubbers and is only cleaned on Wednesdays. The room only had a single bathrobe for two. I'm not complaining, but you expect a Marriott to have these little things done perfectly.

As a Marriott Platinum member we were a little disappointed given the hotel’s rating. With only 2 elevators operating and one being used by cleaning crew, we often had a 5 minute plus wait for the lift. Apparently it’s had the “upgraded” sign up for about 2 weeks. Not good. Broken elevator aside, the staff were very friendly, professional and courteous. No complaints. Our room was as expected. While we didn’t get a harbor view our room was light and airy. Since they moved The “M” club from the 16th floor to the first it’s more than a step down. Feels like a dungeon and the space is a bit awkward. If you want to be close to the harbor action this works well.

Check in is at 4pm but our room wasn’t ready. Then we were told it was valet only parking for $35!!! When we booked in January they had self park options so feel like this is a total bait and switch. Not impressed.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to complete this online review in regards to your recent stay at our hotel. We wanted to reach out and apologize for the disappointing stay! It is our teams goal to provide a 10 out of 10 experience to all of our guests, and it seems that due to our change in valet service that we have fallen short of expectations. We made the decision at the end of March to switch to a valet only concept due to continuously reaching capacity in our underground parking. Many days we would reach capacity and run out of space for our guests, forcing us to send guests to self park off property. This was not the type of service the hotel wanted to provide and the last thing we want to do is turn away our guests vehicles. Now with our valet only service we are able to fit more cars in our parkade and since the start of valet only we have not had to turn away any guest cars! We apologize for this change being unexpected due to the booking being made so far in advance. We will follow up with the team as we like to work with our guests whenever there is something they were not aware of and see what we are able to do to accommodate their needs and expectations. We hope we are able to welcome you back in the future so that we may better your experience with our property.

We stayed here for three nights and had a varied experience. Check-in was swift and we were soon on our way to our room, we emptied our suitcases and went to pour a drink, this was when we discovered a half eaten burger in the refrigerator and a glass that looked like it had been dropped in a muddy puddle! In fairness to the hotel the staff were equally horrified and very apologetic. We were offered a room change and next day received a card and a bottle of champagne from the hotel as a further apology. We used the gym in the hotel, which is slightly odd in that it has a carpeted floor and no mats available for doing sit-ups etc. One of the lifts was out of action for a refurb (although there was no evidence of any work going on during our stay) one of the other lifts was frequently out of order, leaving just one in action and lengthy delays waiting to go up or down. We didn’t use the hotel car park, you can use one of the nearby underground parking lots or there are spaces on the road adjacent to to the hotel for half the cost of the hotel parking. It’s a great hotel in a good location, just the poor attention to detail and noisy guests let it down.

Good Day, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel after your most recent stay. I wanted to reach out and apoligize for what you experienced with room cleanliness and wanted to assure you that what you found in the room was not up to our normally very high Marriott standards. I have passed this information along to our Director of Housekeeping so that he can follow up with the team member responsible and take steps to ensure that this remains an isolated incident. We very much appreciate you leaving this feedback as comments such as these assist the team as we work to improve our guest experience. You have noted in your review that we are missing matts in the gym for sit ups, and I will have to look in to this right away as we had placed 3 yoga matts for guest use in the gym. It is always possible some guests have taken the matts out of the gym for use in their room and I am wondering if the matts did not get returned. I will have to investigate and procure some more matts. As you saw we are working on our middle elevator and are hoping to have it back in service as soon as possible. The only delay is a part we have on order, once that part is in we will complete the elevator maintenance and have it back in service. We understand that this can cause some delays when the hotel is very busy, and want to assure you that this elevator is a top priority for the property. Thank you for your details feedback, and we hope to one day welcome you back to our hotel and provide you with a better experience.

Amazing rooms. Super clean. Beds are really comfortable and sheets are very nice. The food from the restaurant (even as room service) was a masterpiece to look at and to savour. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. The only bad thing that happened was that my husband had a horrible allergic reaction to their shower gel, he broke out in hives that then peeled. It was something that has never happened in any other property we've stayed in. Other than that, the stay was lovely. I'd just suggest avoiding their in room amenities. Honestly, they smelled pretty bad anyhow, very strongly of menthol or eucalyptus. But super nice place to stay, close to the Museum and Inner Harbour. Excellent pub next door too.
