My husband and I stayed two nights at the Albion Manor for our anniversary. The ambience is very romantic -- every room is decorated with antique furnishings and artwork and the breakfasts are amazing (lemon ricotta pancakes and cheese souffle are just two of offerings)....More
Two night stop on our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. The breakfasts are absolutely outstanding, with a souffle one day and ricotta pancakes the next. The rooms are quaintly and comfortably furnished with unique touches on all sides. The outdoor gardens and little eye-catching...More

We could not have had a better introduction to Victoria. Our room (Michelangelo) was comfortable and made outstanding by its private entrance and porch overlooking the back garden area. The location is ideal--just three or four blocks from the harbor, Royal BC Museum, Legislative Assembly...More

Hi there, Albion Manor is close to the ferry and I would advise you to catch a taxi , rather than walking especially with your elderly mother. She would appreciate the beautiful Manor and its gardens. There are many rooms to choose from and there is not many stairs. As to the castle we did not go there, but it is a local tourist attraction and your hosts are excellent local advisors to see the best of the area and they will point you in the right direction to get transport to all the sites. Make sure you take your mother to the Fairmont as well. Victoria is a wonderful city and Albion Manor is a fantastic place to stay to experience this area. Regards, Alex (cagatravel).
