Property looks simply unsafe. Hosts come for a couple of hours in the morning. Nobody welcomes you in and shows around, keys are left at the door in the envelope (means, anybody can actually get in). Fire alarm from some late cooking in the guest kitchen wake us up in the middle of the night, and there was nobody to...

I don't understand why this person who stayed two year ago keeps writing the same review. I don't understand why she after all this time try to damage our reputation. I am sad and puzzled by her actions. I was very helpful to this person. We do work very hard in running Bed and Breakfast. I also don't understand why...

My friends and I decided to find a lovely bed and breakfast for a quick weekend trip in Victoria, since they had never been to one before. With distance/room quality/food/cost in mind, I stumbled upon Marketa's Bed and Breakfast , which already had a lot of great reviews online. Here's the verdict: 1) Distance: Walking distance from the Parliament Building...

We stayed in the room with the jetted tub. Our stay was 3 days 2 nights. My wife and I enjoyed the breakfast very much. I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating with gluten free English muffins.Very comfy and warm bed. Nice dining room for breakfast where we got to meet and talk with some of the...

I stay here every time I am in Victoria. The staff is amazing and they make me feel like I am at home. It's perfect location means you can walk to down town Victoria. Book here you won't be disappointed.

We stayed 3 nights at Marketa's. The room was comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent with friendly service, especially the Montreal-style bagels with lox. The location is fantastic: walking distance to Victoria Harbour, Provincial Government building, downtown and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting other travelers from Austria, Germany, Canada and the United States. Marketa's will certainly be our first choice when returning...

We stayed for 2 nights on our return visit to Victoria. Marketa's is in a great location only five minutes walk from Fisherman's wharf and the harbour. We were given a warm welcome and our room was very nice but the bath and shower were inside the bedroom. There is a comfortable lounge and facilities for making drinks. There is...

Cosy, comfy, welcoming bed and breakfast a few minutes walk from Fishermans Wharf. We had a lovely room, small but cute with a freestanding bath. Breakfast was really nice - home made muffins, lots of coffee and then I had the eggs Benedict which were great.

In a very quiet street but close walk to everything you would want to see and do while in Victoria. Breakfast was amazing each day and you could sit outside on the deck or inside on a porch, plenty of space for all. Marketa was very helpful and answered questions for us. There were parking spaces in the back for...

We spend 2 nights here in June 2016 as part of a touring holiday. The décor is quirky and unlike anything I had seen before, the whole house was fascinating and the loveliest place to stay. Breakfast was served in the conservatory and while we were eating she took a tray of home made muffins from the oven, transferred them...

Marketa's b&b is in a lovely period house which is charmingly decorated and furnished in character with the building. Although in a residential district, it is only a few minutes walk to the centre of downtown Victoria, so it is very convenient. We had a warm welcome from Marketa and her team. The breakfasts are fabulous.

Marketa's Bed and Breakfast offers a unique taste of traditional hospitality mixed with European flair. As soon as you walk into this heritage home built in 1912, the panelled walls echo a different era.
