We had a great stay at the Ashcroft House B&B! Paulanne had great ideas about things to do, and discount coupons to all the attractions we wanted to go to. The fireworks at the Butchart Gardens were spectacular. Paulanne gave us a blanket and some good advice in Victoria, you can lay out your blanket on the fireworks lawn in...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our anniversary vacation, and we will definitely stay here again when we make it back to Victoria! Due to oversold flights and weather delays, we ended up having to modify our reservation with Paulanne not once but TWICE, and she was so gracious and accommodating. She even changed our room...

Our stay was brief but enjoyable. We arrived in the evening and left after breakfast. Paulanne welcomed us upon our arrival and had all sorts of useful Victoria information for us. The house and location were beautiful. We walked to Prima Strada, the pizza place Paulanne recommended, and had a very good meal. Like another recent commenter, I thought that...

Historic home accessible to key sites. Impeccable room. Fantastic breakfast. Our only regret is that our schedule only allowed us to stay one night. Stay here! Warm hosting and helpful information to guide your siteseeing.

Paulanne and David are excellent hosts, giving us outstanding tips on scenic walks and drives. They went out of their way to make us feel very welcomed. The Ashcroft House is in immaculate condition - they take great pride in their B&B and it shows.

Everything was wonderful.... Food was AMAZING! Innkeepers were very helpful with where to go for fun and meals. Great time! We actually traveled in September 2011 but it would not let me go back that far.

We were delightfully surprised and more than pleased that Ashcroft House B&B proved to be a beautiful Heritage home without all the creaks and squeaks in the floors and guest noises from adjacent rooms. Ashcroft house has been nicely renovated to provide quiet and updated comfortable rooms while retaining the period architecture of a very lovely older home. It is...

After researching various B&B's in the center of Toronto, we found the Ashcroft House. It had glowing reviews, and helped us to decide to try it for two nights. Our room with en suite was in this charming old home. Cleanliness is a top priority in this B&B, and was evident all the way through. After a quiet night, we...

The Ashcroft House is a lovely heritage house in a neighbourhood of similar vintage. Paulanne and David are exemplary hosts and serve up a delectable breakfast. The breakfast is served at 9 a.m. which was late for our plans. Paulanne put together a substantial 'bag' breakfast for us which was very kind of her. The second day of our stay...

One of the many reasons I love this B&B is that the hosts are so accommodating to people with allergies. I am a vegetarian with several food allergies, and the Ashcroft House accommodated this without hesitation. I was served a generous 4 course breakfast for the 4 days of our stay. At each breakfast you start with muesli /granola/ yogurt,...
