Detailed Reviews
Just finished a one month stay and we were thoroughly impressed. Exceptionally well run facility with friendly staff. Sites along the water are the most desirable and hedges provide some privacy but obviously don't block out noisy neighbors. Location is ideal as it is only 40 minutes from downtown Victoria, 20 minutes to Sooke, 10 minutes to East Sooke Regional Park and only 1km from the Galloping Goose trail. We will definitely be back.

This RV Park is lovely. Cedar bushes between each of the spacious sites gives you lots of privacy. We had one of the premium sites and the view of the harbour was very relaxing.
Lots of trails around the site to walk our dogs.
Attentive staff that will lend you a cable box at no cost. We will definitely return. Thank you!

We have been going to Pedder Bay Marine & RV several times a year for many years now with family and grand children, and have always had a very enjoyable time.
The staff are always accommodating & willing to assist with anything.
It is a wonderful place to go & relax. Lots of places to walk and visit nature.

It was ok but they were very restricted there. Didn't want us walking around the grounds to talk with people. Only rent boats because there were losing money there. Park was book solid they put there rates up by 200. Price increases because they were busy. talk about a abusse a company that is making money already with COVID and using that to make even more money. Most people that I talked to that were there long term said they only would return it the boarders don't open up. If they open up this place will be a ghost again because of the way they up the price due to COVID They wouldn't allow people staying long term to get mail there. If you stayed long term they moved you around every couple of months.

If you are not from South Island, don’t go here. They will not rent you a boat even though you lined up outside for half an hour. I tried to rent a boat and had emailed them twice requesting information. Nowhere on their website does it say they will not rent to out of province. I was denied today because I’m from out of province to rent a boat by myself.

Chase and I stayed here for a few days before I took him back to Seattle at the end of his holiday in Canada.
We rented a really beautiful fifth wheel overlooking the marina. We went to the coffee shop for breakfast. There's a corner store in Metchosin and we bought some food there.
There's a firepit, so we built a fire together and had hot dogs and marshmallows.
We chartered a fishing boat one morning and went out on the ocean. Chase fished for rock cod. He had an amazing time and would have happily stayed at the Resort forever.

This place doesn’t have all the information on the website. We booked the place for 2 days thinking to rent boat. They told us when we got there that because we are not from the province we can’t rent boats...which sucks. We had to leave and they kept the deposit 50$, not fair. The lady at the main office said that she doesn’t have the authority to reimburse our deposit. This place is pretty boring and far from everything. Not recommended!

Very well kept resort. Lots of place to walk/hike in close proximity. Very private and large lots with tall trees. Very friendly staff. Paved roads. Clean gravel at sites. Clean washrooms and laundry room at reasonable prices. Pet friendly. Highly recommend this place.

We got lucky to add one night at this RV park when we decided to tweek our original plans. What a gem of a place. It was so quite and peaceful and the spot we got even had a deck overlooking the marina. On our next visit to this area we will definitely be staying here again.

Quiet and beautiful, you can't go wrong staying at this RV park. Sites are super clean and staff is friendly and very helpful. Bathrooms and showers are exceptionally clean at all times. Brand new park for littles. Will stay here over and over.
