Thanks Super8 for providing 3 nights great accommodation at a good price for us Australian travellers. It has been many years since I have been in such immaculately clean accommodation. Each day on our return from Silverstar (an easy direct 30min drive) our room has been cleaned, towels changed and pillows plumped up. The continental breakfast is also served in a spotless room.

Words cannot really summarize the feelings we have for the staff at the super 8..from the very first day we were welcomed with open arms,smiles,empathy,courteous service and such professionalism..they couldn't do enough for us..holding our rooms while we were getting conformation..assuring us our rooms would not be given away while we waited for conformation from ESS..helping us with protocol for ESS as they had direct contact with them..making sure there was always fresh coffee for the many evacuees staying with them and the hotel was full of us..many of them my neighbors..the staff work so well as a team that I didn't even know till the second or third day who was management..they do it all..whatever needs to be done they do it together..I was very impressed.. again I would like to thank Sima and her staff for treating us like family and making our very stressful situation a little less stressful..thank you again from the bottom of my heart..in closing I would just like to say if you or someone u know are looking for a clean,comfortable inexpensive place to stay then pick them. Make sure the room you are given is clean inside and out, Checking in as well as checking out, sometimes things happen but make sure you are on time for the breakfast or you will go with out. Not a good experience for me, i should have went with my first choice but tried to save some money, The old saying is true You get what you pay for! lol never again!!!. My money would have been better spent elsewhere.

Chosen for Location (perfect) Safe and Free Car Parking and because the Pool was operational. We were very impressed from Check-In. All Staff friendly, helpful and attentive. Fastidiously attended to and spotless everywhere. Guests are given impressive discounts at the Restaurants and Fast Food Chains across the road. We stupidly forgot this when we had Lunch in White Spot but the Eggs Benedict and Service justified every cent we paid. Our rear room was clean and comfortable with lovely view from the balcony of the charming very old houses across the road. There are Banks, Grocery, Liquor and Retail stores, easy walking on the other corners too. The Breakfasts were good and the busy Staff were exceptional happily maintaining supplies and tidying up and cleaning surfaces. etc., Very sweet with children. The Pool alone was worth the Room Rate. That it was open a big plus too. Our Grandson was the only user our visits and loved it all so much he stayed in determinedly. It was wonderful to watch his enjoyment of the Pool. Great complex for Guest Facilities. Easy Guest Laundry. All Commendable.

Driving up the hotel looked older but decent. Then entering the front lobby the front desk girls were polite and dutiful and it looked and smelled clean. Then upon the elevator opening on the top floor the smoke/dusty air hit us. Then as we entered our room it was so bad it took our breath away. Within 10 minutes my throat was hoarse and breathing labored. Call the front desk and they gave us another room. but the same result. So we couldn't stay and they said we would get a refund but nothing still.
Young lady said to us "not to book at the Riveria because it is worse than here" I guess that says it all.

General speaking the room was very clean in this were our main concern. This location is in very busy area but even then we could not hear noise and we did sleep very comfortable. Spacious room and nice window view. The hotel hold some money for night but i was told and it is back to you account in a few days. I was worry but everthing was fine after. Good Service

Went to visit my bf there as he was working in town. Had my dog and seen it was pet friendly. Front desk called to ask and I said I had the dog but she’s happy in the truck too if it’s not okay. Clerk said to come to front and just pay for pet. So $25 a night. Wanted the following night even though I said I didn’t know how long I was staying. Then wanted my cc on file. My bf had given a $300 damage deposit a few days before. Today we learn that she took the full $80 for pet plus kept the damage deposit. She said the towels were dirty. I will never stay here nor will the company we work for. So dishonest and crooked.

I have contacted the Better Business Bureau as well as damage deposits cannot be kept without cause. Pictures etc. they must a killing with their deposits and extra charges. To charge $80 for a 2 night pet stay then keep $300 when there was no damage and room was left clean and dishes done.

Words seem so inadequate. Due to the BC Wild Fires we were evacuated and were fortunate enough to be booked into the Vernon Super 8. Seema along with the rest of the staff are so welcoming and caring. We felt at ease the moment we booked in. The Staff are very friendly, courteous, professional and caring. Not one Staff member has ever complained over their workload and we are always greeted with a smile. The Hotel is so clean and kept up daily, along with our room which is spotless each time it is cleaned. Covid 19 protocols are in place. This is a very stressful time for us, as we don't know if we will have a home to go back to, Super 8 is a "home away from home" for us thanks to all of Them and we will be eternally grateful.

I would NOT recommend anyone stay here for numerous reasons. Firstly, the staff are rude and unhelpful. We were staying in Jasper and were forced to evacuate due to a serious wildfire. We already had a booking for this hotel to check in the next day and even paid extra to check in at 11 am. After driving all night from Jasper to Vernon, exhausted and without sleep, we arrived at the hotel just after 6 am and politely asked if we could check in a few hours early due to our situation. The staff were completely unsympathetic and insisted on charging us for a full night's stay for an early check-in, which is unreasonable given that the room was already prepared for us.
In general, the staff were rude and unfriendly. The place constantly smelled of bleach and strong chemicals. The rooms were old and dirty, and the shower was so outdated I could barely get it to turn on. The hot tub and pool looked dirty and uninviting, so we didn't bother using them. The only positive aspect was the comfortable bed.
Overall, I am very disappointed with this stay. I never write bad reviews, but given the condition of the hotel and the rudeness of the staff, I felt it was important to share this so others are aware.

If you like Chinese food Asian Avenue is a very good restaurant. Don’t do the buffet order from the menu. You can use the coffee maker to make tea just bring your own tea bags.
Actually, they do provide rollaway beds with an extra charge (from what I remember, the charge is not much at all, i think like $10) but they can't accommodate the rollaway in all the rooms; only in some.
