Great location, polite and professional staff, room was clean and quiet, beds were comfortable. Room was soundless, slept soundly and heard absolutely nothing. Due to Covid, optional amenities were not accessible. Breakfast wasn't what I expected.
We stayed there 1 night on our way from BC to Alberta. Conveniently located, this hotel is probably 2-3 years old. All the furniture looked new; no scratches, etc. A smart person designed in 90 degrees to a nearby road so you wouldn't hear a noise from passing cars. The breakfast was really good. The way you would expect a breakfast in a normal 3-start hotel. The only negative part was - some noisy guests shutting doors and laughing in the corridor in the middle of the nigh
We stayed here recently and were happy with our room. It was quiet, beds were comfortable and had 2 different pillow options. They didn't service the room while we were there which was fine with us. We didn't have a chance to grab any breakfast because the lineup was so long. Pool was working but the hot tub was shut down which was a huge bummer. The parking here is atrocious. This hotel shares an already small parking lot with another hotel. They allow huge trucks and trailers to park here instead of only allowing small vehicles that dont take up numerous parking stalls. The staff had to direct us where to park but by the time we actually got to the spot it was already taken. Everyone had to park illegally and was super frustrating. We only really dealt with one staff member who seemed to be doing the best he could with what was given. Not bad overall. We would stay again but would NEVER bring a large vehicle.…
Great location. Room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Really strong water pressure in the shower but drainage was not so good. Breakfast was conveniently served in "to-go" brown bags, which is understandable considering the current pandemic. Each bag included a pastry (muffin or cinnamon bun), a yogurt, an orange or apple, and a juice box. Would definitely stay again.
Unfortunately, though I checked before booking on their website and they did have COVID protocols up, few standard measures were in evidence when we arrived, other than a sign requesting social distancing and regular hand washing. They’re paying lip service but not taking it seriously. There is no hand sanitizer anywhere in this hotel. None at entry, none offered at check-in, none at the elevators, none in the room. There was a plexiglas barrier at reception but the person working the desk never stood behind it. They don’t ask you any screening questions at check-in, nor do they inform you of their cleaning procedure or COVID protocols. This was a complete 180 from the hotel we stayed in the night before. Other hotels are serious about taking proper precautions. This one isn’t. The rooms also aren’t properly serviced — and not just due to COVID. In a room with two queen beds, and 3 people registered, they had two towels and not even an eighth of a roll of toilet paper, with no spare roll. The bathtub didn’t drain properly, so we showered up to our shins in water. When I went down to request a towel and toilet paper, no one was staffing reception and I had to stand and look around for 5 minutes, hoping someone might come (no bell or anything, either). They do not seem to offer any sort of express checkout, so you have to go and wait around and deal with a person at reception to leave the hotel (also not great during COVID). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and there was more than enough pressure in the shower. The rooms are air conditioned using in-wall units. I’d recommend looking into other options in town, even after COVID, given the level of service and care they take.…
