Our stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites was relaxing and clean. The rooms were soundless, even with our family friend's infant waking up in the wee hours of the morning. We slept soundly and heard absolutely nothing. Due to Covid-19, optional amenities were not accessible. It was odd that staff did not wear masks, especially in the service industry.

Modern colourful lobby with a professional efficient front desk team to quickly check you in - alerting you up front about the limited operations due to the COVID (no pool and a small continental breakfast).

The beds & pillows were very comfortable. Excellent shower with good pressure in a large washroom.

A little disappointed with no microwave in the rooms but the front desk did allow the use of the one in the main lobby.

Breakfast is a continental option with muffins, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and very good coffee.

I would be happy to book this Fairfield Inn again.

We stayed for a night (as our preferred hotel was only available for two of the three nights we needed) and were not disappointed. Zero complaints which we expected given the room rate. Bed and pillows were comfy. There are a few restaurants within walking distance as well as the casino, which is attached to a restaurant.

This place is a joke.
I was given a dirty stinky room with POOP inside the toilet… This room was not cleaned.
I called the front desk and they asked me “if I couldn’t just flush it”.
That doesn’t change the fact that the room was dirty.
The front desk worker changed us to a smaller room with a broken TV.
So I called again and asked if we could have a working TV and we were upgraded to a nice King Suite. So we had moved into our 3rd room before we even went to sleep.
The following morning I called the front desk to inquire about something and Ryan told me that he was happy I called because the hotel had oversold that room I was upgraded to and that we would have to move again in the morning.
This mistake was the hotels error, not mine. So I said I was happy to move if I was compensated as this upgrade was compensation for the inconvenience of being given a dirty room (with someone’s poop in the toilet)
I was told that “the hotel was unable to offer me anything”. And that if I wanted to speak with the manager Ashley, that I can e-mail her. Which I had, multiple times already and she does not respond.
So, we change rooms for a 3rd time and move into our 4th room. And when I opened the door to this room, a man was coming out of the bathroom. This took me
By surprise as I was not expecting to have someone in the room. He told me I could come in, I asked him who he was and told him I was not going in until he got out. He said he was from maintenance… and then he left.
He came back shortly there after asking if he left his cell phone. At this point, my daughter had just returned to the room from swimming and she was in a towel.
I told him he did and he could get it.
I then went back to the front desk to return the keys from the 3rd room and mentioned that this man was in my room and that he came back and my daughter was in a towel etc.
20 minutes later the girl at the desk, Rose and the maintenance man came to my door to kick us out of the hotel.
I have never been kicked out of an establishment in my whole life.
The maintenance man was yelling at my 14 year old daughter, and we were visibly upset about this whole situation.
Who knew asking for a clean room was asking too much.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. That being said, your experience of your stay is definitely below our standard. Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for the shortcomings and deficiencies you experienced, such as the cleanliness issues in your bathroom, and the inconvenience of having to move rooms more than once due to unforeseen circumstances and an unfortunate clerical error on our end. When your situation escalated to the point it did, our Management team felt the only viable option and course of action, and that it was in the best interest of all parties involved, to mutually agree to evict you from our property. We're sorry it had to come to such an extreme conclusion. I have shared your feedback with the associates, and as a teachable moment, we have discussed our service standards with the particular individuals you dealt with and reviewed improvement opportunities in the service they provide. I can assure you Management has been made aware of these issues and I am confident that the necessary steps will be taken to ensure that your experience is one that will not occur in the future.

Our hockey team had the worst experience at this hotel. When we checked in over half of our rooms were dirty. We had showers that didn't work, beds that were broken and the breakfast was the same everyday and constantly ran out. They were also not accommodating when we asked for an extra 2.5 hours late checkout for our bus drivers room so he could rest before our 12 hour drive home. The front desk person (Rose) charged our team another night stays for the requested 2.5 hours extra for 1 room. Keep in mind we had just paid for 20 rooms for 3 nights with so many things wrong and then they refused to accommodate an extra 2.5 hours.
Our whole team will never stay with the Fairfield Chain again because of this experience.

Here for my sons hockey tournament. When we arrive without any notice to get us a piece of paper stating all the rules are on it. Staff member Rose refused to give me any information, other than telling you to refer to the piece of paper. I get in the elevator, and there is a notice posted that children are not allowed playing mini hockey. Anywhere in the hotel. They are not allowed congregating anywhere. If you come back to their sub par breakfast for a second time in the morning, it’s a fine. If you play mini hockey, it’s a fine. If you are having fun, it’s fine. They have cameras on every corner of this hotel, and if you break any of the rules That are only applicable to the team. She runs up there immediately. Her name is Rose. She is awful. Yelling at children. Turning lights off at 9 PM when people are sitting watching the hockey game quietly having a nice time. I write an email complaint to corporate after two days of harassment and who do I get an email back from.? Rose lol apologizing for her own behaviour which she has continually repeated day after day. I highly recommend not staying here and especially if you have a team.
Oh, and anyone who is here for the team does not get housekeeping either lol. Even though we paid $30 more a night than you can book for on Expedia who gets housekeeping.

The hotel is in need of many repairs and maintenance
every amenity, including rooms, were run down and not what one would expect with a Marriot property; they charge the Marriott rate and offer cheap hotel service.
I requested service, but no one ever showed up to fix the constantly running toilet. The shower that had a mind of its own and a moldy bathroom, This is not a recomended inour opion. Shameful presentation of a so called hotel.

Please note that certain things are more important to certain people during the pandemic. I did not wish to touch things someone just touched. So, I made 2 requests before check-in: (1) a room that has some vacant time if possible. The guy said on phone it should be fine, and he had put me on the 4th floor. However, I got a room on the 2nd floor with windows totally blocked. I could see from outside it is the only one with windows blocked. As a Platinum Elite member, if no upgrade is possible, they were at least not supposed to give me the cheapest of the purchased type (Studio). (2) towels and toiletries for 3 days stay left in the room. I sent this request with the App, and someone replied they would ensure extra towels and toiletries would be left in the room before my arrival. But this did not happen. This is a standard service by Marriott hotels. This hotel should NOT participate this service if they cannot keep a simple commitment. I messaged this failure to the hotel with the App, but never received a response!
Their breakfast included in the room charge is as cheap as a cheap motel would offer, although their rooms are expensive as that in Manhattan. We were only able to eat their banana and yogurt, which was often missing.
Other facility is decent though, except for Wifi: even the charged wifi was impossible for checking emails.
No stuff, except for the one at breakfast, worn masks, showing insufficient care to the pandemic.

My grandsons (teens) and I decided to have an overnight get away in a hotel with a swimming pool and slide for some fun and recreation. The slide was great fun but the pool is not big enough to even swim short laps while the slide is in use. The hot tub is large enough for 10 people and was enjoyable.

Despite making the booking for 3 people, the room only included 2 paper drinking cups and 2 complimentary pieces of chocolate. This seems to indicate that there is little thought to customer experience/satisfaction.

The room felt clean (other than the blackish bathtub grout) and the beds were comfortable.

The included breakfast served grayish coffee and soupy oatmeal. I saw muffins which may have been nice and a few other items but overall it was unappealing.

I am sorry to say that our next mini getaway won't be at this hotel.

You might want to ask the hotel those definitive questions. I was there in the first week of June & the pool was refreshing. There was a ht. restriction to use the slide but I don't know what it was now.
